Who will be in the Scottish VAR control room. Oh, of course other Scottish refs. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss

If we’re to go down the VAR route, I’d want non-Scottish refs running things in an undisclosed location. Otherwise, just forget it - it would be same old, same old.

Berwick v Gretna

Now I know what happened to the one time hailed Hibs wonderkid Alex Harris

Plying his trade at Berwick Rangers

I got the abacus out and counted 3 defeats and one draw for the OF in just a few days last week.  Rangers also got knocked out of a cup.  If not for clear referee bias it would have been 4 defeats.

First rate.

If st johnstone win tonight that's another semi final for them at hampden.

Never want Dundee to win but saints getting pretty consistent with their cup runs.

As long as Rangers and Celtic both win whilst the vermin are still in the competition.

Aye it sounds like they have a tv full blast to make it sound like they are there.  Considering all the huns boycotting the bbc it's mental but not unexpected.

The bbc should stop sooking up their arses and refuse to cover their games.

Any organisation with a bit of pride would stick up to them.   It'll be interesting to see how bt sports deal with them.

Hope they treat them like the English banks did..

They though they were untouchable until Lloyds came along.

Reporter Chris McLaughlin (I am no fan btw) made some scurrilous remarks about sectarian singing (imagine!) and Rangers banned him. BBC said, well if he's out for telling it as it is, so are we.

Look at what happened to jim Spence.

They actually go for the throat of peoples careers.

One comment and they actively try and interfere with someones income.

You think those working for bbc sports Scotland would stick up for their colleague rather than get bullied by them.

The old firm are evil...

Rangers v Livi looks interesting.   Could be a good gauge at just how good or consistent Livi are.

Can't imagine this game is a huge priority for Livi. Have they rested players for Saturday?

Shinnie rested I believe

Rangers 1-0

Win-win this one. (Almost) any time one of the old firm go out in a cup its entertaining, but when Hearts are out and Hibs are still in, on balance I'd rather the old firm stay in to reduce Hibs chance of winning. Plus in this case it means Livi don't get another confidence boost before we play them.

Now 2-0 Rangers and 0-1 Saints

Here’s hoping he doesn’t get the sack.
