Takes a pay cut before even starting to be paid by them. 😅

Hibs fans: This stuff about 70 job losses is just the usual DR/Sun nonsense

Also Hibs fans: This stuff about Hibs beating Hearts to Nesbit's signing is just the usual DR/Sun accurate reporting

Yeah anything they say about Hertz is true, anything they say about Hibs is made up.

Hi mate. See when Hibs won the Scottish cup? You all said it was the pinnacle of your lives. Best thing ever and you can all die happy because it won’t be beaten?

Well I saw my team win it THREE times by the time I was 23.

Totally off-topic but I just like reminding every Hibee of this when I meet one.

Cheers

Was that the Championship final which ended in a riot?

This chap Nesbit comes across as a wee hibs supporting ned.  Watch this space but I think we could have a new riordan on our hands.

I've noticed that too 🤣

They are actually the thickest collection of people on earth.

Hope not. Whatever you say about Riorden he was an excellent footballer at that age.

It's 70 odd out 4 jobs retained.First team jobs only.

If true, this is by far and away the worst thing any club has done during the pandemic.

Even worse than Raith trying desperately to justify their "title" and D Utd's millionaire owner leaving fans and part-time football clubs to pay for legal fees they don't need to spend.

What was James Anderson thinking giving money to people like this?

He has probably asked himself that several times now and likely lost sleep over doing so.

The player himself has said we put in a last minute offer.

Is it a lower wage or deferred wage?

He mentions about hibs players being on deferred  wages so I’m thinking his lower wage will go back up when deferred wages are paid.... probably in 3 years mind

Part Time Hospitality staff are definitely being consulted regarding redundancy. I didn't think it was a secret, so failed to ask too much.

Will see what I can find out and if she goes then that's my ER boardroom sources gone.

I wasn't commenting on a specific story. They believe what suits them, that's a fact.

That coupon wouldn’t go with a Hearts shirt. Ended up at the right place.

I have a question. If Hearts can do hospitality at Tynecastle from this Wednesday, why cant Hibs at Easter Road? That way nobody has to lose their job?

no one would go, I’ll kick start a few reasons:

the majority of them are banned from licensed premises?

they don’t do student/u16/OAP tickets ?

they don’t actually do anything to help their club survive?

the place is a hole?

in all seriousness they never come out with ideas like that.....until they see hearts doing it, then it will just not work for them anyway, for reasons above

Indeed. Unless money is tighter than people are assuming.

Their staff would have to come off furlough and Ron doesn't want to pony up?

I don't know the answer but might be plausible.

Gosh, that's a brain teaser all right.  I'm going for the Hearts Cup Winning Legend but it's a close run thing against that ugly little Hibs ned.

If you’re going to believe the HMFC legend at face value then let’s ever forget any motion that he was hounded out before either and MK Dons was a career progression.  So never let it be said ever again the plane or the Robbie our brigade had any part in the shite that has followed in the past four years.

P.S btw I do believe Robbie Neilson on both.

Easter Road stadium is a dump that no ***** could be arsed going to while our stadium is slap bang in the middle of street populated by busses on Gorgie Road is probably the right answer.

Dirty Deeds

Taking a while to move Kamberi on, I do hope Hibs recent transfer market splurge was not dependent on shifting him soon.

good question

I have asked the girl I know if she has heard anymore re redundancy, will report back

I thought we were opening the Gorgie Suite as it gave us more room than the normal supporters bar.

Presumably the players will make all the usual mumbling nonsense about "great in training", "good addition to the squad etc" - but every one of them should look at him and think "basically, I took a wage cut so you could get signed."

I give it two matches before there's fall-outs on the pitch.

People saying online Nisbet fee was £250,000 with 25% sell on fee.

The hibs players seem to think it was only £100k. Might of been something they were told to keep things sweet.

No danger they paid that.  The sell on totally.

They paid more than that for Doidge and about that for McGinn. It's entirely the level of fee they would pay for that type of player and seems about right going by his reputation.
