Fair enough, but apart from money, what has Ann Budge and Friends brought to our club in football terms?

It has been an absolute failure. We wouldn't even be in this situation if the football department was run properly.

So much money pissed against a wall, and you think people will be willing to give us more?

And i know that people will get all upset about this and call me a hobo or whatever but it's the fecking truth!

What have the Romans ever done for us!!

Ha ha ha when all this settles with Hearts they will have nothing in fact less than nothing there will be a lot of unhappy fans. They will be wishing they had went at this wage cut situation a lot sooner. They played for time now it’s running out.

Nice. They’ll get £250 before costs and it’ll resemble their crowd at the 5-1 final at full time.

Is that Tam McCourt the Hibs kit man or someone else who helped him?

If it is him and they have paid him off then that is a disgrace he has been with them for an age.

I hate Hibs and all that but feel a bit for their staff.

Take a job with a tin pot club that's what happens

Dear mr Blowfish,

it’s going to cost you £125 for your cutout otherwise youR image will only be 1 foot tall to fit the width of a standard cutout. If you would still like to proceed with your order please inform us of which option you’d prefer.
Thanks,

Leanne.

Should get a poll on the go and we can all chip in 15p to the winner. If someone could edit Ron to look like a conman that'd get my vote.

Tam would have been better of sticking with his previous job looking after the pitches at Wardie Playing Fields for the Council.

Don't know why they're bothering seeing as they must've already spent an absolute fortune on those green seat cut-outs that looked so authentic just after the final whistle at the last derby match on March 3rd.

The picture of the season, imo.

They fled their own stadium faster than rats deserting a sinking ship.  It was the latest of a long line of humiliations, and THAT'S why they voted to expel us, even 'though it cost them a large sum of money.

Hopefully the papers will finally talk about the 71 odd people losing their roles at Hibs whilst buying Nesbitt

Unfortunately the Nesbitt thing suggests they're not as hard hit as we would hope. Just taking advantage of the current situation to lay off staff and use Covid as an excuse.

The Hibs squad is ageing and shite.  Nesbit signed as an investment probably with some of future profit going to Gordon.

Wee Ron the Con has charges over all their land, all their assets and all their business - Nisbet is just another asset and being half decent and on a 4 year deal, should not depreciate as an asset. At any point, he could pull the plug and he has first shout over everything

I asked on FB if they had paid the defferd wages yet. This was one of the replies?

you raging because he turned down the championship? Tick tock? You’re the ones that almost let your club die. Needed donations from Hibs fans to even be afloat.

Players come and go. That's the game. We actually haven't let any go though who were in contract unless they wanted to. Which staff have we sacked or threatened to as Hibs are doing?

I thought the Hibs players were told when they deferred their wages there would be no signings until the players were paid back all they were owed.....

The interpretation of that statement has been debated a few times. I think it said until everyone was back to full salary or something like that so you could, and it has been, argued that that means all players are back to receiving their full wages each month which they may be or will be by the time Nisbet's contact begins. That doesn't necessarily mean that the backdated pay is all up to date. All political spin. Either way, they will still need to settle the deferred wages out of next year's budget so must have an impact.

So much for the holy Hibees, eh. Edinburgh's moral compass who are driven by honesty, integrity, decency and, of course, living within their means at all times.

They slated us for signing CG whilst existing players wages were cut etc. and will, no doubt, do so again when we next sign a player.

Glad I have nothing to do with Hibs fans. Scraped the ba5tard5 of years ago. It's like banging your head against a brick wall trying to reason with them and their corkscrew code of ethics.

So 3 signings today but staff given the FU under covid and told no signings under deferral, what a team. Giving Celtic a run for the most shameless in green.

Focusing on the first team, as Gordon has stated, is completely the wrong strategy in this situation, not least because the coronavirus shows no signs of going away anytime soon.

Focusing on protecting staff jobs and using it as an opportunity to promote youth players and build some stability for the long term should be the main focus. I know for a fact it's Budge's priority.

Tom Farmer would not have done this. His priority has always been on Hibs in the community. Gordon is very clearly doing a Romanov - he wants success on the pitch despite the gap between Hibs and Celtic and Rangers and even Aberdeen being far too big to bridge with the odd 250k signing here and there.

Some Hibs fans will lap this up but a lot will be pretty worried. He's ripping up thing like a focus on youth that have been a part of their identity for a while.

It's a bloody low bar they're trying to slither under but, by ****, they're doing their best.
