Mikey1874
I've said already. Clubs not being willing (or able) to play has massive implications. A knock on affect that could kill Scottish football. Providing stability during the emergency period is precisely what is needed.

In short, if Hearts go bust that's fine so long as the tin pot clubs can start up when it suits them. Not a single suggestion from them or any other shitty little club as to how they intend to see out the season (in whatever form that might be). Simply "do nothing" as it costs them nothing. What are these issues though??! I'm so confused on why the lower league chairmen are taking such offence at Budge. Name the issues they face so they might be tackled. Its like dealing with bloody children. Its for reasons like this I really want an excuse to be done with football. An absolute farce. Seymour M Hersh
I might be off base here but Ann seemed to indicate the financial gift that her associates are offering is directly aimed at the lower league clubs struggling or unwilling to play behind closed doors and covering testing costs and not a general payout to the SPFL which could end up in the hands of premiership clubs. Not quite. There will now be a scramble to take ownership of the money on offer with no obligation to do anything else. All of them will demand it if it's on offer and not think twice about seeing it as a no obligation gift.

It removes this self-interest dismissal of the discussion and refocuses the discussion on what the game needs. Now Doncaster has the headache rather than throwing the sop out that would be ignored. Budge has turned the tables on them in ignoring the game's interests, beefing up the duty of care aspect in court.
