Not worth the risk of losing one of the very few goalscorers, only to most likely pumped off an ugly in the semi, at best. Fair enough. We should always try and win the SC imo. Always, strongest side possible or what the gaffer sees fit. Being a point behind Hamilton doesn't change that.

Boris
I'd play as strong a side as we can. It's been mentioned we are getting used to a new style, so why not use another game as an opportunity to get more experience in this new way of playing? We don't have that much time to get it clicking! Some are saying forget the cup, concentrate on the league, so why not use it to get our players up to speed? Tora, Tora, ****ing Tora! As the storm is approaching from the west, and their main stand is slightly in the way, the wind effect will probably be of a swirling nature blowing across the park. There could be quite a number of throw ins in this game, particularly on the side opposite the main stand (east)

Smith is back, the rest still injured, maybe the Hearts ladies football team goalie will play for us, she must be better than Pereira. Hungry hippo
The next two games are such a weird paradox of being lower priority yet seemingly important. Undoubtedly far more important games to come, such as Hamilton, but we could really do with a solid display and victory to get us going again. Another Robbo
Daily Record are reporting that Clyde v Celtic may be called off because of weather (and typically no mention of any other game). Match would then be moved to midweek and our match v Celtic.postponed. That might actually help us as more time to recover and prepare for.the Hamilton game.
