Correction to the above info: the cases figure a week ago was 641, not 464 (that was the day before). Apologies.

Perhaps but I always thought there would be a spike in infections after lockdowns were eased even without the unwashed coming through here.

How can you be in charge of justice one day then top man in health the next day🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Surely it makes sense to put someone in charge of health who’s actually got experience in that line of work and knows what they are doing?

I can’t get my head round how all these people get jobs that they know nothing about

I mind when Humza got the transport minister job and he came out with the quote “ I don’t know much about transport”

Unfortunately it happens in every government, most elected officials have little experience in the real world.

After my first AZ jab I took ibuprofen and paracetamol as a precaution after hearing about side effects. Later read that ibuprofen not advised as it can reduce the production of antibodies, in theory.

The Thick Of It was satire at it’s best.

All parties are the same. They have a re-shuffle and they’re batted about to different departments. It becomes evident, pretty quickly, that it’s a scam. They’re all at it. I remember when they put that MSP woman in charge of the offensive behaviour at football act. Can’t mind her name but it was comedy gold. Brought in an offence of crossing yourself at a football ground.
Talk about not knowing what on earth you’re doing !

Studied Politics at Glasgow University, worked behind the scenes with politicians, became a politician at 26. Not exactly experienced the full journey of life then.

Never been a fan of the career politician tbh.

No need for anyone to go down the "it's just a box ticking" route though.  Plenty of other incompetents there who aren't from an ethnic minority.

More students are arriving back in Edinburgh so there'll be cases linked to that too.

Inevitable as we open up, just got to keep ploughing on with the vaccine rollout because we know it is already making a difference.
