Great when he was with us before but 37 now, hasn't looked great in the few times I've seen him play for celtic and don't want one of their rejects. I also think Pereira suits the way we play. McLaughlin really did prove the value of a stable keeper. Clean sheet record. But instead of sourcing a similar keeper, we have taken on 2 bomb scares at that point. Firm belief there should be a clear no.1 but we created a scenario where we didn't have one. Ended with the indecisive moment in the cup final that turned the game last season. We stick with him and hes bombed out again in August, we then take a young keeper I'm 99% certain he'd never seen in the flesh. Struck me as lazy and showed disrespect for the role. Think our team for next season will be quite different,. Great that Stendel is being a big pull for players. Ann has made mistakes and had rightful criticism for that but the effort she made to get him should be applauded.
