The timing of the contract cancellation is key here. Would not have been consented to by Stendel unless he had agreed a role elsewhere (or was paid in full).

End game time.

Seems like that.

Looking from outside comparing it to how similar situations proceeded.

Has Stendel been linked to any other named clubs?

Sunderland but more by their fans.

A lot of fans of other clubs have mentioned him but no club linked properly.

Mrs Budge going on holiday straight after sacking craig levein wasn't one of her better ideas either

What we really need is someone to invent a way of communicating, which doesn’t rely upon those involved being stood right next to each other.

If we could somehow then improve on the postal service and maybe even develop some kind of instant ‘information superhighway’ which can be accessed anywhere in the world, the. it wouldn’t be like a holiday at all, just working somewhere else.

The future will be great I tell you, great! :D

Fxxx the SPFL

Stendel won't be coming to us he's heard of the fantastic backing we give the team and managers, i really feel sorry for the poor sod who gets the job in their first game and straight after kick off the ball is passed backwards the boo boys, throbbers and arseholes will be out in force.

Fair point

Who gets sacked and becomes available surprisingly can change things.

Which is Stendel.

If he’s not made up his mind by now he’s either buying time till another offer comes or just not interested.

if it’s not him then we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Good feeling about to be back at Tyne very soon.

Looking forward to joining the throbbers, non Hearts hero appointment, feel I can now objectively despise the new appointment :)

Not really. How do you think board members get removed and replaced everywhere else?

But when the person being replaced is also the person who’d normally do behind the scene negotiating and had designed the blueprint for your succession planning, basically you are starting your search and overhauling the recruitment the day levein was sacked

Is he still the manager?

No.

Is he still the DoF?

No.

Are we looking for a new manager?

Yes.

Are we looking for a new Sporting Director?

Yes.

This stuff is not rocket science folks, unless you're really trying very hard to misunderstand what's happening just now.

I totally understand what's happening its not even hard to understand

You can take his word and use it as your own, if that's what you're asking. He's normally spot on.

Do we have the players to carry out stendel's high press game? One thing is for sure, we need ****ing results.

He won’t be the only one.

There are dozens and dozens on here who have made a bit of a tit of themselves with regular mini meltdowns.

I suppose all you need to press high is good fitness levels

We’ve managed to play that way for parts of games v Celtic and Rangers with this squad.

Not convinced our fitness levels are good enough or the team are fluent with each other. Think the new man would need time to mold the players into playing this way.

For me the best CH for this is Smith. Reads the game very well.

We will certainly find out who it really willing to play for the jersey if we adopt this high pressing style

Arthur Morgan

If he comes in we must give him time, he needs at least the January window, but probably best to judge him next season if it happens.

I'd rather we had gone with Warnock personally but Stendel will get my full backing if he has indeed signed. I'll be delighted if he rams my doubts down my throat 😎

Totally agree, I think this will not be a quick fix, whoever is confirmed will need time and patience from the stands. Anything half decent in terms of results and ENTERTAINMENT this season will be a bonus, I think a few players will be very nervous about their future at Hearts.

This. It will take atleast the rest of the season to get used to a new training regime and new style of play. The pressure starts after he has a summer window for me
