Sorry if this has been covered - So, we are paying Barnsley a compensation fee for an employee they considered dispensable and who they would have to pay to end his contract - or continue it to the end of the season? And they think we are being unfair? Am I missing something? Sounds like a win/win situation for Barnsley: get rid of an unwanted employee and get their costs covered.
