After the runaround Uche gave their defence in the league match, their game plan will have included ways of snuffing out his threat.  That will have to change now as we will obviously be using a different tactic which they may not be as prepared for.  Does mean a gargantuan effort from all though.

The cup final tactic was to close down centrally but stand off when Celtic played the ball to deep lying wide positions.    Designed for the bigger pitch dimensions.    It's not as demanding on the pressing players as the kind of all-out high press seen at Tynecastle vs Celtic.     It's also easier to retain a shape.     I think we'll see it again today.

The thing about today is there’s no pressure. I expect us to get ridden senseless but you never know how the players might react now Leveins gone. We thought the same in the Cup Final and we performed well. 

 

Either way, we know that good times could be around the corner and getting to the final would just be a huge bonus considering our League position.
