Robert Lazar
We're going to have to be far more of a threat up front if we're to progress today. I had to sit down after reading that Wighton is starting but at least Macphee seems to be trying something different.

Robert Lazar
Perhaps a sensible decision leaving uche on the bench. Bigger pitch means he'll be blowing out his arse quicker than usual. He might be more effective later in the game, especially if it goes to extra time.

I’m just trying to think what wightom brings over uche. I’m struggling to thing at what Wighton is better than Uche; I’m really struggling. It possibly removes our tendency to go long but I even doubt that. Maybe a possible explanation would be uche carrying a knock/tight hamstrings. Caused I’m struggling to figure out the football logic. Hamstring? Surely those days are over

Agree - at least it's a plan - recently we have been so predictable. Also decent idea to try to pass through rangers rather then boot it up in the air after pitty pattying round the back

Bauld
We might be looking at attack them from the off again and press hard. Perhaps Wighton is the better option for that tactic and then later in the game when he begins to tire we bring on Uche to cause utter mayhem in their backline. letsalldothebeattie
More confident for this game than I was prior to Levein being punted. Realistically we will still lose this game but the removal of Levein has given me hope heading to Hampden that a result for us could be possible. I want to see us start fast and get in Rangers face from the first minute. If we do that we have a shot. I’m going to say Hearts 2-1 come the end of Extra Time

Smith&Weston
Why anyone would consider starting Wighton is beyond me. The guy has done absolute F all since he came to the club and hasn’t even scored a goal for the club. If this is true, and he only took 1 hour to pick the team, maybe he has been a big part of Leveins problem. A 20% fit Naismith would be better than Wighton
