He really is the epitome of what is wrong with us. We are a first team that is mostly full of back-up squad players and "punts" on players who might come good (and that might work if you have a fit, confident first XI for them to slot into and learn/grow with, but we don't).

Injuries have robbed us of momentum, confidence and ability and there's Whelan fecked now.

Whoever comes in has a massive job on their hands.

100%,, McDonald should never have been allowed out on loan,  by a mile the best young player we have. We cant win a game and let go a creative attacking goalscoring player and in his place...Morrison, Mulraney, Clare,Wighton,MacLean, Henderson....do me a favour.

 

Would Cochrane have been a better option in cm, by a mile, he is brave, passes forward and would offed do much more than Bozanic.

 

Both these boys go into next Summer in last year of their contract, 30+ players brought in, new manager will want more....struggle to keep them which would be a travesty. 

 

Time for club to decide on way forward, young exciting talent or journeyman freebies most of whom no one has heard of,!!!

I think a bit of perspective is in order. 
 

Rangers are a bloody good side that have only lost to Celtic and Young Boys this season and scoring goals for fun, including a 5-0 and 6-1 trouncings of Aberdeen and Hibs.  We’ve one league win this season, i’m not sure what people’s expectations were going into today

100% we have no interest in 'maybes' or 'gonna be's' time to get.. real proven experienced men with a mix of young hungry confident players.. too many pretenders and born losers in the squad picking up a wage
