Levein’s time is up...

It’s ok to change your mind on Levein and admit you’ve been wrong many of us have. But don’t lie about your support of him, there’s over 400 pages on this thread alone most of them have a contribution from you stating your position.

Are you calling me a liar?   Check the 400+  and tell me where, when and in what context I have supported him.

It would suit you if I did because it would give you someone else to fire at.

Last night wasn’t another typical toothless, clueless showing from his team that’s a 39 games now and we see the same thing over and over.

I'm not trawling 400 pages so lets get straight to the point.

1. Do you think Craig Levein has done a good or even acceptable job since becoming the manager. No caveats around injuries its a simple yes or no. He either has or he hasn't.

2. Do you think he should remain as manager of the football club.

What does "probably" mean in context?  Either he is or he isn't.

Can you explain how these different jobs pan out in practice?

Sitting in an office to set up the plan to beat a team, what players will

do well against them,  free kick and corner routines.
A coach to me is someone who is in amongst the players, constantly giving advice on how to be better players.
Macphee does the former well with NI but when he has to actually  do the latter with Hearts he fails.

Cathro is in the same category, good analyst but a poor coach.

I’m my opinion we don’t have a good coach at first team level, shown clearly by the small percentage of players who have improved whilst being in and around the first team.

Real problem for the post Levein and MacPhee era will be the length of contracts many of their poor players have.  Will not be easy to tidy up their mess.

Absolutely, both GKs for instance are contracted until 2021 and are unlikely to get the same wage elsewhere.

Spot on. It was really noticeable in the LC games how little movement there is in the final third. Watching the same tactics constantly, that rarely ever work, has lead to so many of us becoming disillusioned. We will put up a show on Sunday but get beat nonetheless and he will carry on 🙈.

Tell u what mate. 5 Years down the line at the start of the new dawn/era and without the benefit of foresight I would have never even have contemplated the reality of the situation that we are in now. Never in a million years.

It means; that the players have no faith in the "game-plan" and have been over coached, overly analytical in their video sessions, and are so devoid of confidence now, they can't realise for themselves on the park when it's not working, and can't/won't disregard the Coaches through fear of failure.

They've had footballing instincts coached out of them, and without Naismith & to a degree Whelan now, being vocal on the park & walking some through it almost, there's no accountability. Because whatever they're asking the Coaches, isn't doing the desired job. So they don't expect whatever they do as players, to change it either. Berra's partially to blame for that too, as Captain & de facto leader whilst on. But he's lost confidence too.

From my humble perspective, from when I see Hearts at the minute...they're robots. Not football players.

Total ZONAL football. Craig firmly believes it is the way forward

We have almost come full

circle and if he’s not removed soon it might be too late to stop it.

Regardless of players out due to injuries, that team last night should have been well capable of beating a woeful St Johnstone.  They didn't and that to me is down solely to the management team and low confidence in the squad.

Nothing is going to change in the foreseeable future, no matter which players comes back.  Levein and his whole coaching staff needs replaced.  And I say that as a Levein supporter.   He has never been the same since his illness.

Lack of confidence to me can be summed up in one incident:  Damour received the ball in space on right side of half-way. He ran straight towards the goal until he reached the box still in space, when instead of taking a pop at goal he tried to pass through traffic to Uche standing on the left side but instead the ball ricocheted to Clare who passed it back to half-way.  Full circle.

He keep telling us the player self belief is poor, who's job is to fix it, or at the very least make sure it doesn't happen in the first place.

I'm pointing out most of our best players are missing.

Not even Levein is using that as an excuse.

Each to his own. You have your opinion, those who think otherwise have a perfect right to show their displeasure.

Reprecussions, sounds like a a threat. I can assure there’s not many that would have a go at me in the real world.

Nothing to do with you as you won’t be there anyway.

Are you really that thick? I was responding to a post about possible violence, “surely nobody can defend him and get violent” infers that it WONT happen and there won’t be infighting 😱🤷🏾‍♂️😳🙄🙈🤔😃😆😂🤣🤪🤡?

Leith Academy’s standards have fallen drastically over the years 😋.

Bit of a disgrace that we've reached midday without an announcement tbh. What's the point of letting him have his semi final?

Nonsense.

It's Levein's team of gutless under-achievers and the majority of them can GTF too.

Thanks for your efforts (or lack thereof). Bye.

When they inevitibly fold after the first sloppy goal the PHM will be giving them both barrels too.

Because I don't hold with "supporters" that verbally abuse their own team.

That's why it bothers me.

Firstly you have previous for duff info and if he has had a meeting then it’s probably to give him a contract extension

Exactly, and when his dumb posts are scrutinised or he’s asked a direct question he has no response. I think I’ve feed him enough today, he needs to go on a starvation diet so to speak 😜.
