We're only getting decent crowds at home because of our season ticket holders.

Think that’s the same for every club. What’s your alternative funding plan?

We're only getting decent crowds because folk are going through the turnstiles.

Am I right?

This thread has taken a wee turn

No, the point was we’re getting good crowds despite folk not going through the turnstiles, I.e. the many ST holders who are not bothering to go but are still counted as being there.  Thought it was pretty obvious.

It’s hardly unexpected that we’ve not and are unlikely to sell out our tickets for the semi but has our allocation already been reduced? One of my Rangers supporting mates has just got an email offering tickets from the club as more have now become available therefore assuming we’ve now sent some back?

Hearts site only showing 227 tixs available to buy across all sections

Watch this space for dwindling attendances at Tynecastle too. At least they can still say there was 13k in attendance, even if goes below that in reality.

You seem to enjoying yourself.

On every thread dissing the club.

From memory I think we sold roughly 14,000 for the semi-final versus Celtic in 2012. Just read on a bit further in the thread and it seems different dates and different vanues are being quoted by different people. I see, from an email I got today, that our league cup allocation went to general sale today, so if part of what we were originally allocated for that game, i.e. Section F, it does suggest a figure of around 14,000 might be on the cards again. Could have been a lot worse than 15:00 on a Sunday afternoon, but each to their own I guess.

There is no way we had 14k at the Semi v Celtic at Hampden.

How does our ticket sales compare with hibs considering it’s the

same venue and similar opposition and we are both poor in the

league

If we have handed back half of the East stand then according to the dot counts we only have a couple of hundred tickets left.

What I would like to see in the event of us reaching the final is all purchasers of semi final getting the chance of a final ticket first.

If Celtic were to be our opponents they would likely demand the same amount of tickets as Rangers ended up with.

The 'protesters' who have withdrawn their support for the semi final can then continue their protest for the final.

Feck them 👎

As will always be the case, season ticket holders will be allocated a final ticket if we get there.

Quite possibly but it’ll be set at a level where all current season ticket holders meet the requirements I’d imagine.

It would be easy for the club to apply my suggestion , just check purchase history.

Normally I would agree ST holders first but people are deliberately with holding their support for a vital match.

They have taken drastic action so the club should respond.

I would imagine they’d look at the points threshold and set it where every season ticket holder was guaranteed a ticket.

You are assuming we get the same allocation as for Scottish Cup final.

We may not , thanks to the 'protesters '

So if for some reason season ticket holders can’t go to the game for whatever reason they should be exempt from getting a ticket to allow some 2 or 3 game a season part timer to get one?

so exempt people from going who pay hundreds for a season ticket!!

   good one

In your opinion or do you have the figures ?

Looking back at footage we didn’t sell the last 3 sections of the West Stand towards the North.

We did sell 4 sections of the South Lower, so it maybe made up for the unsold in the West. Probs somewhere between 12 and 14k.

Don’t bite, mate. Every time there is a Cup game, a kind of Uber fever comes over some and wild suggestions are aired.
If we get by sevco, the allocation of tickets will be fair and everyone will get one !

Check the highlights.

We filled the West stand round to at least section B4 or B5, so that's 4 or 5 sections more than we've sold now in the East.

The South stand looks similar to what's been sold now as well so 14,000 looks about right.

Another good point.

A bigger turn out in Edinburgh rather than in Glasgow for Hearts supporters.. could do with a public study to identify the reasoning behind this anomaly.

Possibly.

Yet folk have highlighted the poor turnout at the ICT semi finals IN Edinburgh.

No Uber fan status here Boab.

Just pissed off with people using our Semi final as a protest.

Thanks to them we may have a reduced allocation for the Final if we make it through.

It's good to see Section F is open now.

At least that means the Rangers won't be getting anything like 7k tickets.

There are people who won’t be there next Sunday who aren’t protesting but will be at the Final if we get there...I’m one of them.

Ridiculous notions of putting people ahead of others because of attending one game have been shot down in flames many times in the past, and will continue to be so....because it’s daft.

Do we need to do this every time ?

Exactly. I've been to one Hearts game since moving away, in 10 years. (Last season's 4-1 against St. Mirren, as it goes) I've 1 LP, and even I'll get a ticket if I'm able to go, if we get to the Final.

Worry ye not, people. Silly getting all worked up.

I take it if an account purchase was made for a ticket for the upcoming Scotland u21 game, the account would be recognised as 'active'? My last online purchase was in 2018 and all other tickets since have been picked up from others.
