Better than porn.

Like a few others have said on this thread, prior to our admin period,  if hibs got themselves in financial problems, I would never have wanted to see them suffer. However, after seeing how they're fan(nies) reacted during our troubles, I would open a magnum of champagne to celebrate. Tick tock you inbred spunk trumpets.

Well if you think about it, Hearts and Hibs are comparable in size of supports.
Both supports have desires and ambitions what they want from their club.

Hearts supporters donate a lot more money to their club than what Hibs supporters do.
(Forget the very wealthy ones and the quoted £4 Million figure.)
I am just talking about the 8000 contributing members, all ordinary guys who are putting in over a million a year.

Now because Hearts get a lot more money from their fans, they have more income than Hibs.
That in turns puts them in a better position than Hibs ie they can if they so wish operate a bigger player budget than Hibs. They might just be able to buy any player Hibs might be chasing. They can do this because they have more money than Hibs.

If they get really lucky and then get a good manager then it's take off for them.

We have to accept that they will probably start finishing above us.

I could of course be talking bollocks.

Think of this though. In the 1960s Everton and Liverpool shared a city and both had comparable supports
They were on a par for success. Both viewed as equals.

Fast forward to 2019.

Over on hibs.net they're under the impression that the reason we are getting so many players in is because of the FOH money. As they are raising £20,000 a month from their HSL scheme (or were), they are all mostly pissed off about the situation they're in.

Wait until it dawns on them that not a penny from FOH funds has been used to  bring in players, and then wait until it further dawns on them what players  we might be capable of bringing in once we have paid back Ann and the FOH money is ours to spend as we like*.

If only someone could go on their forum and explain the facts of life to them. 😊

*  I know it's not quite as simple as that, but they cretins are not to know that. Haha

They are also under the impression that we've gone over our budget to bring in additional players, whereas Ann is very strict in ensuring we live within our means.  They just haven't twigged that maybe we didn't spunk all of our budget by end July, like they did, and instead held some over to see what became available in August.

According to one poster over there...

This seems to have been a shambles recently....

We don't even have a match sponsor for the next home league match. (judging by the ads on social media)

The 2nd match at home in the league with no team sponsor, no Match Sponsor, or sponsors for key sites in the ground (dugouts, south stand massive corner ad )

sacking offence for someone if you ask me....

Basically, Rons cash injection has shored up terrible commercial activity for the year. So we are basically back at square one.

I really hope it's true about the match sponsor

So if dodgy Ron has taken securities over the stadium and other property, does that mean his so called cash injection is just a loan?  In other words, have they effectively just transferred STF's debt to Ron?

Or does the security possibly pave the way for additional funds to be loaned to them?  Either way, it looks as if they didn't spend very long being debt-free.

He basically has security over the whole show, so the minute he loans them cash, which he will, they either pay him back through money generated or he starts selling the family silver! Be interested in his interest rates on these loans.

Seems very coincidental that the budget has been spent and nothing else is being made available and HSL have started begging for shares two days after he took security out on the stadium, which sits on prime Edinburgh real estate!

You can be sure if this was happening to us, .net would be a wash with guys tell us we're about to become a tesco!!

My completely unfounded theory is he'll sell easter road, and try and get a council funded stadium built out where the barn that they call a training ground currently sits... then disappear back to the states!

Rudy ! You've cracked it ! So they did due dilligence on the guys' monies by the look of it but have they been sold a big fat lie ? I was at Easter Road with other Jambos and Hibs pals the day of the possible takeover, worrying about what might happen to them but Hibs pals or not ,since 2012 and all the bile, letters to Lithuania and so forth I want to see them die.Selling Fester Road and moving to Tranent would be the next best thing Tick Effin Tock.

They've turned their attention to training facilities over the road. The cost to build and maintain the EM folly compared to the low cost rent we pay.

All the hollow boasts about "ownin oor ane facilities" and now their solution is to sell it and rent it from the new owner.

Amazing how quickly they've went from "Hecky at the wheel of the Scottish Man City" to turmoil.

Love it.

That "fee" has disappeared from the article. Also noted that Grasshoppers have a whopping 30% sell-on fee.

They're desperate to pick up on anything to try and get one over us and owning EM is one of those things.

Soon, the easy answer to that will be that we own something more important....our club

I know, it looked bad when I typed it. I would never cheer for hibs or say well done if they won. I jus would rather they done well, but at the same time, if they were getting beat I would want them to take a pumping. My old man was old school, he would watch them if hearts were away that day. He said he never once cheered for them but wanted them to do well, not as well as the famous obviously.

Now though, feck them,  they showed their true colours during our difficulties. I would happily buy every jambo some champagne of they went bust.
