After Aberdeens wages it's Hearts then Hibs, and there's not much in that, they're closer to our wage than we are to Aberdeen but, where does he go if Hearts aren't keen? The next highest wage in the League? I'm no way saying that he will go there but if offers are on the table and our name isn't one of them then, who knows. He might just decide to stay at Aberdeen, or go down south but after Hearts and them at Fester, there's not really much else in our leagues where he'd get a decent pay-packet. I think we might go for Lee Erwin as well who's currently a free agent. And possibly Connor Washington. 5jambo1 Posted June 21, 2019 Share Posted June 21, 2019 If I remember correctly I’m sure Levein said at some point before all of last seasons signings we were only after 8/9 players and look how many players we ended up signing. Levein can be ruthless with players who he does not think are good enough as he’s shown with vanecek so I expect a couple of departures and also at least 4 players not including Naismith i also don’t think we will play 3 at the back next season (may be wrong) I dont think we have the ‘wingbacks’ to play 3 at the back and I think the way forward for us is 442 or 433/451 like what we played in the final. Playing these formations will allow more attacking players especially in the wide positions. Playing 3-5-2 I think only suited us last season due to the lack of attacking options.
