What goes on behind closed doors between consenting adults, is no-one's business but their own.  :whistling:

But seriously, has Trump had such a private meeting with any other head of state since he became President?  And is this any more bizarre than the time he invited a couple of top Russians to the Oval Office, and all aides were excluded then too?  Trump's obsequiousness towards Russia is embarrassing.

This is now the second time that Trump has had private meetings with Russians with no American officials present.

The Oval Office meeting was with Sergei Lavrov & The Russian Ambassador to the US and the only other person present was the TASS photographer, no Americans, only Russians present.

I find it astonishing that Trump is having private unrecorded meetings with Putin, a man who by all accounts knows everything that happens and may still direct many things within the Russian Intelligence & Security networks.

The very same intelligence & security networks who just a few days ago had 12 members indicted as committing crimes against America and Trump is having private meetings with their boss.

Its ok Trump said that he trusts Putin more than his own intelligence agencies.

Trump answers in loud voice; "Witch hunt!!"

oh, wait ..  he meant "Fake nooz".

Or maybe it's "Make America Great Again".  Or maybe it should be "Lock her up."

Whatever it takes to get his followers cheering and applauding and distracted from reality.

In an astonishing revelation spoken by Russia President Vladimir Putin during a joint press conference with President Trump, the world now knows that a man named Broder earned over a BILLION dollars in Russia, and snuck the money out without paying taxes - with $400 MILLION of that money having been sent to the Hillary Clinton Campaign!!!!!!

This information was revealed when a reporter from Reuters asked Putin if Russia would send the 12 men Indicted by Special Counsel Mueller, to the US for trial.

Putin replied that there is a Mutual Law Enforcement Assistance Treaty between the US and Russia since 1999, and Russia WILL PERMIT Special Counsel Mueller and his team to travel to Russia to take part in any interrogation of the 12 men.   BUT IN RETURN, Russia wants the same treatment under that Mutual Law Enforcement Treaty with regards to a man named Mr. Browder.

Putin said:

"Mr. Browder and his associates earned over $1.5 Billion in Russia and evacuated the money without paying any taxes. He paid no taxes in Russia or the United States.  $400 million was sent to Hillary Clinton.  If the US wants Russia to cooperate on the 12 men, then Russia wants the same cooperation on Mr. Browder."

Folks, this is the single most gigantic revelation to come out of the entire Helsinki Summit between Trump and Putin.

The President of Russia himself has now revealed Hillary Clinton got cash (earned in Russia) far in excess of allowable campaign finance limits.  The ONLY way that cash could find its way into her campaign without raising red flags with the Federal Election Commission, is if it was LAUNDERED.

If there is evidence that Hillary Clinton has broken any US laws, then she should be charged and tried.  But a conviction will require better evidence that the word of Donald Trump's best friend in the whole world, America's biggest adversary, whose minions worked illegally on the 2016 campaign to Clinton's detriment.

But Clinton is a convenient distraction, which will get Trump's fans looking away from the Mueller investigation.

Even if all the above is true, it doesn't change the fact that Trump is willing to trust the word of a murderous dictator like Putin over that of his own intelligence officials, especially and in spite of overwhelming evidence which says Russia did interfere with the 2016 election.

Now that is the most single gigantic revelation to come out of the news conference.

Then again maybe it's not, because there has been questions about just who is pulling Trump's strings before today.

She's the Republican party's Emmanuel Goldstein.

A convenient scapegoat used when they're looking to distract their base from this week's mess.

Trump still has not divested himself of his business interests, which he is required by law to do, and is making money as a result

https://www.vox.com/2017/12/30/16832964/trump-business-washington-hotel

https://www.usnews.com/opinion/articles/2018-03-05/how-is-donald-trump-profiting-from-the-presidency-let-us-count-the-ways

And Trump's daughter and son-in-law made profits of $61 million last year, while working in the White House.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/ivanka-trump-jared-kushner-earnings-how-rich-white-house-washington-a8394876.html

But Trump acolytes refuse to talk about the Trumps and their money-grabbing Presidency.  They'd rather talk about Clinton, the person who lost the Presidential election.  She sent some emails on an unsecured server, dontcha know?  Shocking!  And Trump's best friend says that she laundered some money.  Will America ever recover??

Yes, and if there is evidence that Trump has broken any US laws, with regard collusion, then he should be charged and tried accordingly.

Correct.

EDIT.  There is no law against collusion.

Mueller has the authority and legal interpretation to bring charges. We saw that in the Manafort indictment and what he levelled at the Russian conspirators:

"Defendants, together with others known and unknown to the Grand Jury, knowingly and intentionally conspired to defraud the United States by impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful functions of the Federal Election Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Department of State in administering federal requirements for disclosure of foreign involvement in certain domestic activities."

Thanks.  The word "collusion" is vague and not defined in law.

During his speech in Helsinki, Trump was banging on AGAIN about how he beat Hillary easily and fair and square in the election, and how the Russians didn't interfere.

I'm beginning to think that the dimwit is genuinely concerned that, if it is proven that the Russians were involved, his election will be overturned.  He couldn't be that stupid, could he?

Could he?

Former CIA director John Brennan was among the most critical, saying that Trump had betrayed his country and should be impeached.

"Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of 'high crimes & misdemeanors,' Brennan said on Twitter, referring to the standard for impeachment outlined in the US constitution.

Brennan is completely and utterly mad. Nothing we know right now is "treason" as defined in US law. Yes, it's absolutely ridiculous, yes it's the stuff of autocrats, and anti-democratic, and entirely self-interested, and not at all interested in the well-being of the US or its allies. None of it is treasonous.

Plus, this is John Brennan, the man who lied to Congress and the public about the US drone programs, repeatedly, as well as the extent to which the CIA spies on US citizens--including those suspected of no criminal activity. F*** him anyway.

I think Trump has demonstrated he never does anything that is not directly in his self interest. So why would he turn his back on the entire country in favour of Russia? What do they have on him? It must be absolutely massive.

I thought when Trump was elected the consensus was we would all be in for ww3?

It seems that they have plenty on Clinton.

Trump is playing a dangerous game if he is being publicly accused by Brennan.

Nobody mentioned Clinton, and no Clinton is the subject of this thread. Please don't derail it.

As for your other post about thawing, if you think an autocratic Russia being coddled after cyberattacking a US election, annexing Crimea, and a host of other stuff, is good, then you're f****** insane.

Anybody with any sense surely will now be trying to distance themselves from Trump, because when the house of cards comes tumbling down they and their careers might well crumble as well.

It is pleasing that Hannity doesn't have an ounce of sense then.

A strong independent America and a strong independent Russia working together,

that is the globalist’s worst nightmare.

Where are the servers?

What a great, great question. Very beautiful.

Putin is a mass killer and his cohorts spread disruption in every election in the western world,  Trump to act as his mate was pathetic and I didn't think he could sink any lower.  But he has.
