You'd think we were Millwall in the 1980s the way Budge talks about section N. Talk about mountains out of molehills.

Some folk on here would be better off supporting Livingston.

Looking forward to tomorrow's FOH AGM, I had a word with Stuart Wallace following the club AGM.  He is concerned that there may not be sufficient members present to constitute a quorum, and allow the meeting's agenda to proceed.

According to the Articles of Association, the meeting must be adjourned if a quorum of members is not present.

The minimum number of members required to constitute a quorum is 51 (I wonder how they came up with that number?). So if you are free, please make every effort to attend. The meeting starts at 6pm.

I think Budge is going about this the wrong way.

We should be weeding out the bigots and racist but it seems she is trying to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Given all the issues discussed in this thread I would hope that there would be 51 members planning to attend.

Sectarian chanting , racism, throwing flares and missiles

Do you have any proof of any of that? Do you think the club can close the section to a few hundred fans and tell them it's because they're guilty of any or all of the above?

So in a nutshell:

- Things good on the business side

- Playing side; key players to return from injury and Vanecek arriving, expecting to hit top gear again until the next round of injuries

- Section N told to behave more

- A little bit of our soul sold with the OF's guaranteed max allocation for the Roseburn

With the greatest of respect what you think doesn't matter. The point is that we have an all-seated stadium with steeply pitched stands not designed for standing. Are the people who stand oblivious to the fact that there is a seat right behind them? The club has asked these characters several times to do what the other 95% + of us already do - and been ignored. So it appears they are more committed to standing than to the club they claim to support. Instead of taking up the club's time with their blinkered campaign they could usefully go off and watch Bonnyrigg Rose or equivalent where they can stand all afternoon.

Your first sentence says it all about the worth of your opinion

Seriously this section N issue is getting beyond a joke.

Ann Budge should call a meeting for all section N season ticket holders, address the issues and list the incidents and let them have their say.

At least if there is some open dialogue between them a compromise may be reach without the need to shut the section.

Half of them probably couldn’t string 2 sentences together though.

i agree with her 100%

Nobody in section N sits. Nobody in section N wants to sit, therefore nobody in section N is oblivious to anyone sitting behind them. It affects absolutely nobody in section N.

I had issues in Section G where guys were standing in front of my two girls and they wouldn't sit when I asked so my girls could see. We had to move. We have paid the same as them, we got a seat but couldn't see, we have every right to tell these rude and selfish ****ers to sit down. It's a stadium with NO STANDING. Can't believe folk still argue this.

Her Witch hunt against section N is bordering on ridiculous. Bigger issues than one section of Die hards.

I love budge..she has done a great job overall.  But she has to let this one go. If she shuts this section down watch the ripple effect and gaps appearing. I get the whole family club vibe but this is football and there is always going to be a rowdy section who gets the atmosphere going.

Wouldn't be the same without section N.

I’d prefer it without the numptees in section n

The young laddies you refer to do not stand in section n therefore closing section n would have no impact on these people

Since the administration this AGM thread and others have the same posters peddling the same line time after time post after post. It’s also obvious very very few of them actually go to an AGM or are share holders for that matter.

My asvice is go to an AGM if you are entitled too and ask your questions there and ditrct them at the relevant people. The Directors will answer your questions as hey they can.

if your ate not a share holder but are a pledger to FOH go to that AGM and ask the FOH representatives on the Club board  the questions or complaints you harbour.

No I couldn’t make it after all. Don’t we all hide behind our posting names? I would’ve put my own name when we joined all those years ago if it was allowed. At least I don’t have 1874 in my name ??.

Great performance again by Ann Budge at AGM. Making it clear that the behaviour of the oafs in Section N will not be tolerated. It's long overdue, their behaviour is a disgrace to Hearts.

There's a coin been launched at Neil Lennon from somewhere in the middle of the new stand, flares from Section G and numerous offences from away fans in the Roseburn.

I'm all for stamping out unruly behaviour but the club need to make sure that they take an even handed approach to this.

Otherwise it just looks like a witch hunt.

I think the club has proof of it, there’s sectarian singing at most home games. There was cctv footage that showed flares/smoke bombs being thrown onto the pitch that caused burning to the new £1m surface. That’s before standing, safety certificates, emails etc .

There's a family stand for a reason. The rights and wrongs of standing aside it amazes that folk seem to go out of their way to sit in areas that will give them reason to moan.

That’s bad, I’m not sure if informing a steward would’ve helped either. I wonder if they stand at the Cinema,on a plane, in a restaurant, on a bus, or a train, or a theatre, or a taxi, in their living rooms, in a doctors surgery, in a classroom, in the toilet, in their car, on their bike,or the dentists or anywhere else seating is provided ???‍♂️?

I didn't read anything in the post that suggests the people chose to sit behind standers on purpose.

In fact, why would anyone voluntarily choose to spoil their own experience in such a way?

No one in their right mind would purposefully choose to sit somewhere they didn't like, far less put their daughters through that experience.

This is a ****ing nonsense. Ann needs to calm the **** down and remember that these are paying customers and among the most loyal and passionate within our fan base. I'm getting sick to my back teeth about hearing about this. Everytime she mentions it, it tars ALL hearts fans with the same brush because unfortunately 'tiny minority' is a bit wordy for a headline.

I wish she'd just focus on the business. If fan behaviour is impacting sponsorship then she needs to be candid about this. If not, then unless anything unacceptable happens then just leave it alone. Its so hypocritical to attack our own fans whilst offering celitc and the huns with all the bile they spew the full stand.

That’s a smashing idea. Then the press would be able to hear and witness behaviour when certain away supports visit

If they have proof, fine, use it and ban the perpetrators. Don't vilify a huge chunk of loyal fans who are completely innocent of any wrong doing.

Still to see any evidence of our pitch being damaged because of a smoke bomb (I've only ever witnessed one flare at Tynie and that was the Bad Blue Boys from Zagreb in the Roseburn). Smoke bombs rained on the pitch from at least three sections against Hibs. The one I saw land on the pitch was opposite side  from N so it was either some throw or it came from somewhere other than N.

The point is, as others have eluded to, why are N being threatened with closure but other parts of the stadium free from criticism?

Yes, someone asked the very question so Levein spoke at length on most of the injuries. Apologies if anything below is incorrect but general jist was:

Berra - Hamstring ripped off the bone and he had never heard of someone picking that up in football.

Souttar - Obviously injured playing for Scotland but again a very rare injury and was because the way he landed on his hip.

Uche - Took the specialists weeks to identify. They had to have him standing in a specific (weird) way to see it in a scan. He has been apologising to him since diagnosis as he (Levein) kept telling him he was fine and to play through the pain. Apparently similar to when a car runs over your foot. Again a bizarre one.

Naismith - Sounded like one of these things.

Dunne - Nailed by Morrison in training. Levein made reference to how committed Morrison and Brandon are in training. I think he said “they train how the play” or something along those lines.

Wighton - Rolled his ankle in training when nobody was near him.

He also spoke of his frustration that Cochrane has had so many niggling injuries. He was in contention for Aberdeen so needed match practice amd played against Rangers Reserves on Monday.  He was due to get taken off in 60th minute....... he got injured in the 59th!

I think there was 16 thrown from the Hearts end according to the club, I could see a brown patch from row 5 in section P at the match after the derby. As you said the whole of N stand, that alone has seen the club email the culprits in N&G. My biggest problem with this is how we allow away fans to do this.

Reading Levein’s comments he was honest as ever and made it very clear how much he cares and it hurts the recent run.

He did did not say anything we didn’t know about the recent problems. In fact in some ways it is worrying. In that if you narrow down what he said we are essentially built round Uche. And if we can’t play it long and early and get it to stick we are essentially very poor.

This is all a bit bit disappointing to be honest. We need to have more and be better than just that.

Thanks for that, very informative. Didn’t know Wighton was injured at all.

It seems that Cochrane has been targeted in reserve matches, especially the derbies ( 4 yellow card challenges in two games) . He has a small frame and will need to add muscle all over in the coming years.

Souttar did have a hip problem on the summer , he may well have a weakness there thats hopefully been solved.

One more question, did he seem worried about the above average amount of injuries we seem to suffer?
