When he reached the concourse a big guy on a yellow jacket took his arm and asked him if he could have a word and edged him through the crowd. When fans were allowed to stand and more or less fill their boots with sectarian songs and violence to other teams fans a crowd of 7000 was regarded as normal for a run of the mill league game against the like of Kilmarnock.
