Shocking pass.

Berra lucky not to get booked

Berra had no choice, should be a booking 100%.

Its abysmal, isn’t it. The ball is barely rolling.

Jaap's Sigh

We look quick on the counter. Lots of one touch flicks up the park.

Thinking the same, some amount of rubber pellets as well!

How's the formation? Is it laff and Naismith front 2?

Yeah though Naismith is buzzing about a bit with a bit movement across the pitch. Probably because we haven't really settled yet.

Cruyff Turn

The bounce on the ball kicks up more sand than a shot out of a carnoustie bunker. Horrendous pitch.

Deflected wide from Lee after the ball takes an slightly odd bounce in the box.

Decent enough. Causing them problems up front. Ye Berra's tackle wasn't great but that's the chance you take being attacking minded and that's what we're trying to be. Nice ball in from Bozanic too for Berra's chance

Pitch is a ****ing disgrace btw.

It looks, and appears to play like a severely waterlogged grass pitch.

Cruyff Turn

Great diagonal passfrom the back and cross from Mulraney was good. No one attacking it in the box.

Nice to see Naismith back and looking industrious. Always looking to provide an option.

Lafferty needs to wake up.

Was just thinking the same. Our new impetus has maybe caught him off guard after our more laborious approach last year

Ye he looks decent. I think he can improve throughout the season. I'm not sure about Zlamal, looks solid enough, but the relationship between him and the centre backs doesn't look too strong to me. Who knows maybe that's his style but you want communication there IMO

Mulraney been the pick so far, love his confidence with the ball tight at his feet.

We’ve already conceded one unnecessary corner due to  Zlamal not communicating with his defenders.

Hes playing similar to how he did Wednesday just direct and look to get the ball in the box. His end ball needs to improve but hopefully that will come and the pitch looks as crap

Just delighted to have a player who likes to run at the opposition.

Jaap's Sigh

We’ve got the makings of a great side here. All working hard. Plenty pace and they seem to be understanding each other and reading the play well.

We really need to capitalise on this possession. Not creating enough chances.

Hearts on the front foot

Raith Rovers 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Hearts are keeping possession well inside Rovers territory and have carved out a few half-chances so far. Steven Naismtih and Kyle Lafferty are combining well in the final third, with Jake Mulraney an effervescent presence on the left flank.

The home side haven't looked particularly troubled so far, but are being limited to occasional long balls and fleeting forays over the halfway line.
