Just chucking all your strikers in doesn't guarantee goals. Happy with that team.

Having to listen from 4000 miles away on holiday so here’s hoping wifi works for Hearts world. Notice Raiths keeper is the Cowdenbeath one from that memorable game posted on another thread earlier

hwres hoping it’s an omen for goals aplenty

Tbf your line-up  had me purring compared to the actual starting 11. Still think we'll have enough in any case but would really like to see us be as ruthless as possible in these first few games.

I am indeed.

You aware how ridiculously and unnecessarily negative your post came across as?

You realise we pumped Celtic 4-0 with one up front. The number of strikers on the pitch doesn’t affect the ability to score goals.

I think the selection could have been more positive. My opinion. Just deal with it son

One up front when we need a barrow load of goals ?  Sorry but have to question that line up.

3-5-2 is it not?

Hearts win, Lee to score, hearts +5 corners and over 30 booking points looks decent at 50/1.

Defo how we'll line up, although I reckon Naismith will have licence to roam, and the likes of Lee and Burns will get beyond and attack the box.

Quite a fluent formation when it all comes together.

Hungry hippo

Can't believe some posters are crying negativity just because Naismith has replaced Maclean.

Even if it's a 3-5-1-1 I'd still call that 2 'forwards'. No danger we're playing 6 in midfield!

Appreciate it’s your opinion mate. Just made me laugh as it was full of your usual negativity.

I think we need to go into this game today with the mindset that we're starting on 0 points and a -3 GD. Inverness have a +8 GD with 2 games to go. Presuming they will win their 3rd game, we need to win our games against Raith and Cowdenbeath by a combined margin of 6 or 7 goals. This could mean we still have to beat Inverness at Tynecastle by 2 clear goals to finish top.

If Cove are awarded the win, a 3 or 4-0 today would still mean we have a very good chance of qualifying without needing Inverness to drop points or needing a cricket score on the last game against them.

Lay off from the free kick from Laffs was just a little heavy for Burns, he did well to shoot but direct at the keeper.
