I think if we can get Mulraney in behind by hitting over the top a bit more we could get some joy. Bozanic looks like he can play that type of pass. Very disappointed in Lee and Lafferty so far.

Also we have not even tried to get down the right yet Smith has hardly touched the ball.

Rick that has to be the first time iv read your post and not thought ? , Bozanic and Lee should be bossing the midfield , Smith isnt suited to a winger position , we kept the widemen on the lines on Wed , Mulraney has done that today , Smith just isn’t that type of player. Lee played much better on Wednesday but by having the wide men stretch the pitch it gave him room to play.

Get Morrison on down the right side.  We are so one paced, and he gives us that in spades.  At Forfar last week and the young boys all played with pace and tempo. The first team are so one paced. I’m a Michael Smith fan butt don’t play him and 3 centre backs against Raith.

Also Kyle has been rotten.

I think the opposite.  Frustrated at the shite being passed up to him and having to come deep.

Are you fishing PD? Raith have had the best chance.

And the closest we have come was a lucky deflection.

If he wasn’t so aware of the danger around him, we’d be losing right now.

People saying he’s a bombscare despite gifting Raith absolutely nothing.

Zlamal is being labelled a bombscare based on absolutely nothing. He has been decent so far and swept up at least twice.

Hard to put into words just how bad a half of football that was. My optimism for the new season is already vanishing. I see next to nothing to suggest the squad is any better than last season. Watching this today thinking our Championship winning team would wipe the floor with this current side. Let’s hope I’m just being too pessimistic. Given how precarious our poisition could be after Monday it is bizarre we haven’t come out all guns blazing today.

This is where I am at the now. Big half ahead especially since they had the best chance of the half.

The pitch is horrendous though total embarrassment.

These pitches are a disgrace.

Too right HP.

This one is worse than a lot. The ball just won't run on it at all.

Why is Zlamal punting it every time?

Naismith was going mental at him the only time he didnt punt it early. His distribution is an improvement on McLauchlins which was slow amd pretty poor overall.

We are getting split open. Zlamal is a bombscare let's be honest.

You're talking some shite.

Worrying thing is there are limited options on the bench. No Uche or MacLean.

Wing back formation totally pointless against weak opposition.

My opinion anyway.

Makes us a man short trying to hurt teams quicker who sit deep.

Will come good, one goal and they'll have to open up, still think we'll net a few.

As long as it's Ollie Lee as he's in my betbuilder but been disappointed so far.

Because he came out and cleared a couple of balls the defence ignored?

Right then.

Cracking trolling.

We haven’t even tried to get the ball to Smith. We need to vary it a bit more. Lee definitely needs to pick it up a bit.

I would take Haring off and get Keena on.

I don’t see where there are 3 or 4 goals in the team though.

We need to just make sure we win .

Don't need defensive fullback, would take smith off bring on Morrison. Would also bring Keena on for burns. Keena up top and Naismith no.10 role

Lafferty still looks like he’s struggling.

Get him off. Last thing we need is him crocked.

Anything down the right and we just get snuffed out. Centre of the park saturated so it’s Mulraney or bust at the moment.

Lafferty doesn’t look fit. Overall pace across team is a concern.

I missed the first 15 but this is the overriding thing I took from the other half hour. This plus Bobby Burns looks ready for the first team and I didn't hear Ollie Lee's name and didn't realise he was playing. Look toothless still.

Still just feels like your usual early season game.

We look like a team who isn't used to playing together.

Same is said every single summer. Constant turnover in players is part of the problem.
