Remember my mother cleaning the stairs of our block in Craigmillar, and yeh the smell of disinfectant.

👍 the slopes of the roads look about right; can't find any reference to the store.  A Grants at the corner of the HIgh Street and South/North Bridge where that pizza/italian restaurant was for years just round from top of cockburn st yes but nowt for that one further down.

Never seen that before, where about in Princes Street was that located about?

 

Anybody know why it was demolished?
