He had a good career, and although we never talked about it both had a career highlighty by being selected to attend the F.B.I. Sharpie
I was long removed from Edinburgh but knew a couple of guys who worked that detail. Charlie Bowman who had a medal from the Pope, and Alan Stirling whom I met out here he was one of the motor cycle escort. Alan died here in Kelowna a few months ago,

Maroon Sailor
Here's the story behind this Pennywell Gardens One Resident Remains Most of the houses at Pennywell are now empty, awaiting demolition. In this block at the eastern end of Pennywell Gardens, there was just one resident remaining when the photo was taken on December 14, 2006. The occupant was Stanley Lawson, aged 69, living in his one-bedroom ground floor flat. He has refused to accept alternative accommodation. This block will have to be demolished to allow a replacement for Craigroyston High School to be built. Eviction After barricading himself in his home for five months, Stanley Lawson was taken by surprise when sheriff officers arrived at his home at 9am on April 4 2007, to evict him. They took possession of his home.
