campbell
I know this is the a thread about the pitch but a few days ago there was pictures of the Mosaic and some people talking about contacting the club to try and help restore it, has there been any updates on that? Bazzas right boot
Have any players or teams complained? It looks pretty shitty in the corner were we warm up (still say that should be rotated, takes a battering every game) but the ball seems to go across it fine imo. What's the actual problem? HMFC 86
Looked really poor I thought. The section in front of the wheatfield was had a lot of bare bits, and the section at the corner of the main stand and the Gorgie stand didn’t look good. It seemed to play really heavy, I know most pitches are like this at this time of year, but it seems a lot worse than you would expect

Thought it quite bobbly! I'm by no means an expert, but when you look at the state of the pitch vs others in the league just now (grass and hybrid), something is obviously not right. Some sort of turf disease seems the obvious thing. Again, not an expert, but why else would it look so poor compared to everything else in the league? Anyone remember that tam white concert that was held in August that screwed the pitch up and it’s never recovered. Grounds man thinks it will be fine by end of Feb / start or March. Jambo92
I was in the lower tier for the first time this season and thought the pitch looked and played much better than the December games, looks to be improving. Forecast for the next week is dry and mild so hopefully this helps it improve further.

I assume more grass would soften it a little. Warm up areas could do with being moved but there may be a reason they dont do this.
