I think the young team would prefer to be criticised than people making up songs !

We can do both:

Oh the SSO, Oh the SSO,

They sing and chant, and they make Ann rant,

Oh the SSO...

New pitch on fire,

Osman is a player, he’s awesome on the deck,

He’s scoring goals for fun, and that’s without a neck,

If he had more vertebrae, he’d leave defenders in a wreck,

He’s Osman Sow from Gorgie, and his favourite artist’s Beck.

One thing I’ve noticed is that you usually have to over-explain subtle jokes on here nowadays, whereas you used to just be able to leave it sitting there and you knew some folk would pick up on it. ?

Sir Vladimir of Romanov

The club really should be explaining how all new signings feel about the IRA. Perhaps we can include a loves / hates caption in all scarf above head pics?

Or they could be more subtle and ask if they like to holiday in Gibraltar? ??

Sometimes it’s best to just leave it hanging.  The ones who don’t catch on will just keep digging a deeper hole and looking more silly, and others will watch on and enjoy the show.  I’m a show watcher, me.

Sure there was a comment on there about wanting the terraces back to the days of violence amongst other things which im guessing those involved have never seen. I’d imagine if they were in amongst the violence in the days like us older lot were and they saw someone attacked with a knife , cleaver etc or shot wi a gun they’d absolutely **** themselves. Interesting who follows and are followed by.

Maybe they are a mixture of seedy looking old tweed waistcoat wearing weirdos who love hanging around teenage boys, and fat dead-eyed bigots? At least, that’s the sort of image I get in my head when I think who these types might be.

This was posted by someone who has stood on the terraces as a kid and a teenager.

I followed Hearts regular since 74/75 (semi regular nowadays due to my shifts) and I've seen plenty violence but have never seen anyone attacked with a knife, cleaver or gun. Not saying no one wasn't but I never seen it.

How many times did you see someone shot on the terraces?

I mean, who wants a return to the bad old days of shotgun-wielding paedophiles!?

It may have been acceptable in the 70’s but it’s time to move on.

Im not talking about Hearts casuals in particular. Im talking football violence in general. I stand by my comment they yearn for days of fighting at grounds it seems and if they saw some of what really goes on they’d prob **** themselves

According to some on here we now have a bigger paedophile problem with the singing section.

I think some people should think before they post such comments on a public forum. These things are never as anonymous as we like to think.
