As James O’Brien just said what’s the chances of him trying to stay on then actually having to resign again a bit further down the line just because he’s Boris Johnson and he’s caught out with something else? 😂

Why?

How about it's 100+ years' worth of universal credit.

Because it’s been in place for years and no one bothered about it before . Yes it’s wrong , I know .

Honestly can’t stand that Jeremy hunt. He was still pushing for mandatory vaccines early on this year after the u-turn.

Only last month he was mentioning a zero covid policy and pointing to his sister who lives in China being escorted home and quarantined for 2 weeks whilst the police sat outside he’s got a screw loose somewhere I’m thinking. God help us if he becomes PM lol

Yes it’s a choice of who is the least of a ^^^^

Probably best to just call a general election . It’s all getting rather silly now

Why would current ministers change it though, 30 years worth have had the chance to do so.

Can’t see it. They didn’t when MT, DC or TM left.

How anyone thought this was a better path is beyond me.

How labour think Starmer is a better path...is also beyond me.

Very true, I’d like to see Steve baker as PM but that’s purely based on his attitude towards dismantling all green policies.

A hilarious speech. ****ing hell 🤣

He didn’t actually resign,  his speech was described by a Tory MP as “an attempt to gaslight the party, narcissist right to the end”. Which i think is a fitting epitaph.

Talentless clown. Unless just being able to pontificate like a circus master counts.  As he said to one of his staff struggling with the untruths: it's just words.

I’d love him to have called a GE. I’d almost put money on it he’d win.

I hope he doesn’t go tbh

I’m not sure he can without party support, they’ve no money apparently as Russian donations have dried up. I think this was his only option.

Any idea when the Priveliges Committee enquiry into Spaffer reports it’s findings? Because if he is still in post at that point, that is precisely what could happen.

His was talking about being violent towards a person he disagrees and also not even wanting the person to have an opinion , whereas mine is harmless name calling . Massive difference .

Were you not on here a while back saying how upsetting name calling was, ie the singing of the Hibby song at Hampden

I guess if Starmer does receive a FPN for Durham then he will definitely resign ...... some time long after he has lead his second Labour government 😂
