We still want to project the image of “Johnny Bigbaws” on the world stage so spending all that money to help Ukraine helps achieve that aim. It was so easy to let Owen Paterson accept a 2 week suspension for breaking lobbying rules then simply admitting some parties did take place. Could have avoided all this easily.
