She is utterly batsh1t

Right wing Tory talking points with the morons cliche of attacking "Woke Nonsense" (the old PC gone mad)

Absolutely

I've heard her rantings before, whilst Johnson still had his grip on the Conservatives. It was scary to know that she was Attorney General of the UK, with respect only for laws that she liked.

She toned things down on Peston last night and still looked unhinged. Clearly her calmer tone was her opening gambit for the leadership contest.

And now the horrendous spectacle of them all crawling up the sphincters of the various candidates,  the rounds of elimination and the frantic sphincter jumping from one to the next.

Seems an  odd set up. Why not appoint a caretaker who isn't running for new leader. Given Johnson's position where no one can trust him

Seems that can only be done by the Queen. Strange arrangement.

7th shortest premiership.  May knocked down to 8th.

The next one might well end the shortest of all.

Depressingly I reckon he's right.

They appoint someone not quite as disastrous, cosy up to their core vote more and then get re-elected at the next GE.

To a Tory that's onwards and upwards I guess.

Grim.

Boris did his best to reduce their core vote, both figuratively and literally, the next one won't make the same mistake.

Whatever happens they can't pick anyone worse this time around. He will go down in history alright, the worst PM ever and the guy responsible for the break up of britain.

Quite a legacy.

Talking now about whether he should be caretaker. Whether should be someone else.

Are those who resigned going to unresign since he will be away soon anyway? Wouldn't put it past them.

Also sadly true. Being less awful than the Conservatives isn't enough for me.

I'd spoil my ballot if there was a GE tomorrow.

On Newsnight Peter Bone said he was always available to step up and serve the country in government.

Another 2 resignations. Not sure who but whoever they are clearly wanting to get their name on the better side of history before he reads out his statement.

More resignations if he stays as caretaker.

Ah, not Lewis. Though he's gone, too,  it was someone else. Maybe ex NI secretary.

Boris has had a mixed reign. Some excellent things, some real howlers. But when you start to lose documents, forget conversations and defend sex pests then you know your time in office is up. Eh, @nicolasturgeon @Ianblackford_MP ??? Just askin like...

You've been defending this cretin to the hilt and it's only now that it seems he's finally decided to resign that you've chosen to criticise him.

Indeed. There will be much less flying to Ukraine to press the flesh as the replacement won’t feel the to need to bolster their (un)popularity. In terms of military kit etc, I expect that to continue.
