do I believe if I spit on it Hearts will win every game? Of course not, it's just the same as 'lucky' socks, pants, rubbing Grefriar Bobby's nose etc etc. no logic to it but you never know

Clueless **** tourist behavious imo. That's cardinal sin and everyone should Edinburgh should know better. You're only damaging the wee guy.

When the stand is done and the hospitality is up and running, with the ticket office and shop in it, is there a plan for the Wheatfield undercroft? I don't think were allowed to use it due to the close proximity of the distillery, but also read a supporters bar may be put in.

Also... Gorgie suite. Supporters bar?

Cheers.

King Of The Cat Cafe

Just out of curiosity, a query for those familiar with working on site:  I take it that before the scheduled opening of September 9, there was a programme of work that said "it will take X days to fit seats once all the steelwork/concrete is ready" (or words to that effect).

Do we still have that number of days between (say) the end of this week and November 5?

We do know. It's a load of nonsense. Spitting on a certain part of the street has no impact on how sports teams perform or how lucky an individual is.

Bazzas right boot

ManMoth - yes given that so may recollect on here doing it for luck on the High St original. But hey ho we are all different sorry if I have offended the non-spitting brigade1

That's not the club badge.

The reasons behind the high Street badge have been explained.

Why on earth you would want to spit on any part of your new clubs stadium is beyond me...why you would spit n public is another question, each to thier own. You really can't see why Hearts fans don't want to spit on the club crest and some might even think it's a stupid/ disgusting idea ?

Non spitting brigade?

Is there a pro spitting brigade? promoting the positives and trying to bring back a beautiful, poetic and culturally enriching habit?

You must be at it, surely?

If you need to spit, I suggest you do it while lieing down, you might find that fun.

That settles it, you can forget the new stand I'm staying in the Wheatfield for the foreseeable. Maybe drop the cr?che mind you.

Rudi'sleftfoot - I feel humbled by your sage like  knowledge and advice but not enough to take-up your suggestion of lying down for a spit. I reckon I might end up gobsmacked - did you see what I did there?

Oh Nucky you are so perceptive - wish I was you.

Leave it out mate. You are in the wrong here.

Either admit you came up with a shocking suggestion or withdraw quietly from the thread.

Don't think it will take long to put the seats in. They are not going in individually by the sounds of it. Correct me if I'm wrong people.

You spot on, they come in sections

Lucille's Thirsty

They are also loving it on ratsforbreakfast.net.

They really are a very inferior and somewhat pathetic little football club.

:fth:

What else do they have Morgan tbf.

As soon as the main stand goes up and looking beautiful they will go onto slagging our other three stands.

Inferior doesn't even come close.

The shite on our shoes. Nothing.

The crest does look wonderful - dare I suggest we extend the tradition of spitting on the Heart of Midlothian badge in the High St to our new one at Tynecastle Park or is that going too far?

Only utter minks spit in public. Far worse when it's a person being spat on, but spitting on the ground is filthy as **** too.

the rails they get bolted to are on site, waiting for fixing brackets and seats. You can see boxes of rails in this pic.

My apologies mate , my understanding was they were gonna be in sections of 4

Obua, does the lower section feel set quite far back from the touch line or is it just the angle of the photograph?

It looks further back but it's pretty much same distance as before,as you can see two original seats still attached to wall.

I imagined the lower section to be shallower and edging closer to the pitch but it still seems very steep.

Can't wait to see it all from 35 rows up.

Anyway, keep those photos coming. We all love seeing them (well, most of us ;) ) . Is there any chance you could take one from somewhere high up in the Gorgie Stand?

You can see the alignment of the old seats relative to the police box structure, and the "Print Centres" advert.

I'm a sucker for trusting the experts, which isn't always good, my missus on the other hand would be asking questions on every step taken!

With Obuas new pics , you can see they can still get a vehicle  between the pitch and stand, tight though
