You are awful, but I like you!

Sorry, just a reference to your latest avatar, which takes me back to my youth, but is probably lost on our younger viewers!

I was at a football match in Germany recently, an evening kick off. It wad a great occasion, then just when the second half started, the floodlights failed and plunged the stadium into total darkness. The stadium announcer asked over the PA for all the men in the crowd to stand up. I wondered what was happening until I remembered, many Hans make lights work!

The first comedian/comedy actor to invent so many characters like bovver boy, the vicar, Mandy etc., way long before Harry Enfield and the like did similar. The film in which he plays most of his characters (Ooh, you are awful), is brilliantly funny. The outtakes from his show are classic, just looks like they're having a ball.

The clocks going forward always confuses me. I'd forgotten that today is April Fools Day.
