Walter Payton
cant think of how to do this other than at 9.10pm go to the first table you see with 0 folk reg $10 + $1 (non turbo)

is that any good?

Its already 10.09 though ;-) there's randoms that seem to buy into every s&g, that's the problem. I'm sitting at an empty 5c/10c table called geneive if anybody fancies that.

FT always seem to open a fresh table every time someone fills up the first seast of another.

How about at 22.17, we all go in for the next $10 9 seaster with 0 entries.

How many are playing just out of interest, would a 6 seater be enough?

EDIT, just seen post above, I'm in that one, and it's started now.

Enjoyed the game.

Couldn't handle having D-MG to my left.

Donked off far to many chips to him trying to float his bets and getting shoved on when i bet out the turn.

I never handle 3 handed play very well.

Decided to call with 88 against BBJ because:

1. I had been getting pushed around a bit by him. I folded quite a few times to his bets so i felt he may of thought I could get pushed around.

2. The flop was a bit dry.

3. Lots of chips in pot.

I think I just about managed to succeed in playing even more aggressively than the last one.

:stuart:

I got lucky at one point v Andy but to be fair I did also take 2 fairly bad beats on the way to that!

Sorry I couldn't make it last night lads, had something else on.

Good to see one of the young lads rain supreme, even if he is a donk!

Could possibly make the game a more regular thing, maybe once a week/fortnight instead of every 1000 posts?

Just to let you guys know I put your money to good use.

Took my $50 from the win the other night onto a $1/2 table about 40 mins ago and I've just stood up from it with $280.

Nice.

Hit a bit of a purple patch on the old poker this week again.

?240 on Sky

and ?650 just made at casino cash game tonight!

Wish all weeks could be like that!!!

Wouldn't mind an opinion on my exit hand from casino tourney last night.

Still irritating me, believe it or not I actually played like a complete nit last night, so tight it was ridiculous.

Anyhow I managed two fairly big double ups to get to 24,000 and then this hand happened when the blinds were 600 /1,200.

At this blind stage you shouldn't be limping but for some reason there was 5 limps into my big blind and I check it with 95 spades.

So 6 way pot it is.

Pot 7,200.

Flop comes down:

299.

I check, two others check and then this guy bets 10k into a 7,200 pot?

Folds to me and I'm sitting thinking WTF!

This guy must be trying to take the pot down having limped with 55-77 or something,

So facing the 10k bet with my stack of 24k - I don't have a choice here do i?

Call is obviously not an option?

I can't just fold can I?

Anyway I go all in and the guy calls and shows 22 for a flopped house.

I just couldn't believe a bet that size could be THAT strong a hand.

You've done nothing wrong here, you flopped 3-of-a-kind, his bet was deceivingly large so you can't put him on a strong hand.

I can sort of see why he has bet 10K, with all the limpage, the sort of hands you limp with include mid-pocket-pairs that could call his overbet, they'd be thinking the same as you, how can he hold such a strong hand when his bet is so strong and they'd probably pay him off with the 2 pair.

It is unfortunate for you that you seen a free flop (no raises) where you flop trips and get caught with someone with a better hand.

Some big changes on Sky poker, the main one being that cards now turn over in all in situations on the cash tables now!

Also the 200th million hand due to be played this afternoon with Sky offering big prizes for the winner and also anyone else participating in the hand!

What would you have done in this situation?

FullTilt $10 9 player sit'n'go, 8 left, Blinds 25/50, Av. stack 1687.50

UTG folds 2870

2nd folds 2485

3rd folds 895

4th folds 1785

5th calls 1185 (1135)

(D) folds 1120

me calls 1680 (1655)

BB checks 1405

I'm holding;

Poker-sm-234-Jd.pngPoker-sm-243-Qc.png

The flop came down;

Poker-sm-216-9s.pngPoker-sm-215-Ts.pngPoker-sm-217-8s.png

I've flopped the straight, the pot is 150.

me bet 200 1655 (1455)

BB raises All In for 1205 more, 1405 total

5th calls All In for 1135

------------------------------------------------------------------

What would you do here?

There is a possible flush already out there and with 2 cards to come, an Ace of Spades has 2 chances to hit the 9 outer.

Outcome in post below...

me folded

I decided I could find a better spot, I still had roughly the starting stack and decided against risking it all against either one of 2 hands that were potentially already ahead of me.

BB shows;

Poker-sm-238-7d.pngPoker-sm-224-Jh.png

5th shows;

Poker-sm-213-Qs.pngPoker-sm-235-Td.png

BB has the J-high straight, 5th has top pair and a gut-shot straight draw, straight flush draw and flush draw.

Turn;

Poker-sm-232-Kd.png

River;

Poker-sm-231-Ad.png

I'd have won the 2,620 pot and knocked 2 players out. In the end I bubbled...

Still the correct fold.

Can't be too results oriented, if you call that you will be behind more often than not or slight favourite at best.

TBF, the guy has limped with Q7 o/s he deserves to lose the hand in a brutal fashion.

I seen a hand that the board straight-flushed, all the chips went in and someone had the extension and took the lot.

The player that lost played it badly though, he was first to act and instead of giving himself every chance to win the hand (by pushing) and hoping the other player folds, he check called, at best he's splitting. Even if he was scared of running into the straight flush, he called off his chips anyway so it was the same outcome than if he had pushed.

The board straight flushed in a game I was playing before online ?1/2 - I don't play those limits too often online but anyway.

I limped with 88.

Flop came down 8d9dJd.

Pretty horrible board for flopping a set to say the least.

I slow played it by only flat calling bet on the flop to try and fill up.

Turn came Td.

The river was 7d!

The guy had KdQd so fortunately I didn't fill up on the river and avoided losing my stack!

All a bit quiet on here past couple weeks.

I've had a good week. ?800 to the good on Sky Poker!

The bad news is though that is just me clawing back my loss from last week after an absolute shocker, the worst I've ever had.

So basically level for the fortnight now but I tell you what I'm fecking delighted to be back in the game after obliterating my roll last week!!
