Larry
Well... I have thought about it.,. When I say Quit.. I mean... get away for a few days / week or something. . I found myself chasing ot try and get the cash back. Maybe not playing properly.. Not quite tilting.. but something like it! I do the same. I dont make complete donkey plays like what others seem to do to me, but when im chasing losses the big decisions that use to be 60%fold/40% call, suddenly become 60/40 the other way. Statto
I'm in the final 6 seater sit and go. Finally won my heads up, lost the 2 previous call-all-ins against him, the last one I raised it up with 4's, he called, the flop 235, he pushes with A9, I call leaving myself with 80 chips, I have to avoid the 2 remaining 4's and 3 remaining 9's, a 5 outer he has and misses. Top 3 in this sit and go is what I'm looking for! Come on!!!
Tommy Wiseau
Sick beat dot com: I wake up with the Jh and 7h. Flop all Hearts including the King. The only cards I now fear are the Qh and the Ah, so I push hard. Most fold, but one stays in for the turn. Blank. Now the river comes - Qh. The boy across starts pushing with a fairly big raise, and I figure he's definitely hit the flush on the river, but the chances of him hitting it with the nuts are slim enough to call him. You know what he turns over. What makes it even worse is, he had absolutely nothing until the river, which makes his big calls and raises total lunacy against a clear flush draw. Statto
NOOOOOOO Lost a HUUUGGGE pot, AA v 555. He hit his 5 on the flop and all the money went in. 165 chips left, blinds still at 15/30, the second level EDIT: the very next hand, out in the BB with A2, SB had AK. Era Macaroons
It had been going pretty good but I'm a vulture, I join tables looking for people I've seen in the past that I know are easy money. I actually just took THE sickest beat ever a minute ago on 25/50p. Doubled up to ?100 with a set of 4's. Then get 99. Limp call a raise with them. Flop A9J - all clubs. Guy bets ?4 I make it ?12.50. Turn 8 offsuit. He bets ?4 I shove for all in, he calls off another ?40 with...... A5, 5 of clubs, river club. Feel physically sick after that one. could you not see the clubs on the flop:7:

kaka_22
Had a sickener at the circus last night, was playing some really good stuff all night. We were down to about 14/15 left (blinds 800/1600), donk limps UTG, I'm in mid position with AQ, raise it up to 5500, everyone else folds, UTG calls. Flop is A K rag, he checks, I bet 10000 which leaves me about 4000 back. UTG turns to me and says I might as well set you in and chucks all his chips in, I call. He turns over J 10 offsuit, I had to look at the flop several times to work out what exactly he had, there wasn't even a backdoor flushdraw for him. Turn Queen to give him the straight, unreal..... was like something of pokerstars!

Statto
FFS. I HATE people who love a "Joke ten". As soon as I hear somebody raving about JT I know they are a sheeeite player. Fact. I'm the same, TJ is the most over-rated hand in poker -FACT. I just had a hand in one of the sky roulette games (blinds up every minute) I was under the gun with K3 off, 3 BB left, I push. I get called by KK (one of the K's has my suit on the 3 covered). I heard that this is the least favourite you can be head-up with someone, pre-flop! I've just checked and I was a 4.76% shot to win the hand. Even AA v 72 (both suits covered) the 72 is still 10.78% to win the hand. EDIT: Forgot to mention I got beat, a bit of an anticlimax I know, you were maybe expecting a really bad beat, it didn't happen I did hit a 3 on the flop, it gave me chances but I was knocked out. Bigsmak
Again... All in KK vs KQ ... who is winning this one? Not fracking me, that's for sure and 2 hands later, at another table! I raise with the Flush on the turn, he pushes and its $2 more for me to call his all in... and another A comes out to give a full house! I SAY AGAIN.. THE POKER GOD HATES ME! Tommy Wiseau
At least your guy didn't have only the 5 high flush draw True, true. My guy pushed before he even had a flush draw, though! Ridiculous double up on Sky there. I'd just gone on for a minute and thrown away a few pounds on a couple of coin flips. Then in position, get a pair of tens. Obviously hit the limpers and checkers hard, especially when the flop comes down 8, 2, 6. 2 callers, turn Jack, which scares me a wee bit, but I put out a feeler bet anyway. One call, one hefty raise. I reckon if he had the Jack he would either have called for value or bet already, so I call all in. The other boy calls as well. River is a 6. Cards get turned over, the guy who made the huge re-raise (AND the other caller) had...Ace high. WTF?! Nearly trebled my stack with that hand alone. Statto
I'm in a pokerstars $15000 gtd. Currently the 3rd break, 635 remaining, I'm 113th. I'm in the money, playing well/getting lucky. I am aiming for the top 117 because I have bought in directly to the Five00 on sky tonight, I never normally do this but with the win last night and with me going deep in this tourney just now, I have decided to pay the ?22. The top 117 would cover my buy in. Blinds at 600/1200 with a 125 ante just now. I'm on 36,890 chips.
Statto
Won $17.86, finished 271st. Lost a huge hand, all in pre-flop, JJ v AK, I had AK. J's held up. A 60,000 pot. Bring on the Five00!!
Statto
Out of the five00. Doubled up on the first hand, flopped a set of 7's against A's. I knocked 3KMILES from Glasgow out on the first hand. The structure of the tourney is far too quick, after half an hour I was needing to think about pushing! I'm up to 5000 chips and in relation to the blinds I'm short stacked! The 7 minute blind levels aren't too bad but they jump far too high, 100/200 to 200/400 to 400/800 in 15 minutes. The hand I went out on was UTG with KT suited, pushed for 1895, SB calls with A8, I hit a K but they hit an A on the turn, they had also flopped an 8 so 2 cards in the deck only for me. Ironically after slating the speedy structure of the Five00, I'm now entering the Velocity, 4 minute blinds...!
Tommy Wiseau
Been handed some absolutely sick beats tonight. Pocket Kings beaten, pocket Queens beaten, full houses beaten - every one of them on the river. Went from ?5 yesterday to ?12 tonight, thought I'd head off to bed after the next hand. Woke up with pocket Queens, got beaten massive on the river and have been dribbling away money in the 20 minutes since. Now down to ?2 - just keep losing hands when I'm way ahead until the river. Disgusting beats like you wouldn't believe. Edited March 13, 2009 by Thommo

The Merse
Just about did my entire bankroll over the course of the weekend. Lost a big pot on 1.5/3, me 47, flop 479 or something. I bet big, guy calls. Turn 3. He has pocket 3's. Ridic. Then started betting like a bamjob on football over Saturday and Sunday. Bankroll fell to ?600 with money riding on a bet, which came in and saved the day then won a cheeky wee ?170 after it to bring me back to ?1,400. Statto
Who was it that stole my money this morning? AA beaten by QJ who rivered the straight. I've slow played it by flat-calling the pre-flop raise (?1.50) because a re-raise in that position suggests either AA, KK or even QQ. I tried to disguise my hand a bit, I bet ?2.50 on the K high flop hoping someone had a K, then ?4.50 the turn and all-in (?13) on the river. Do you think I played it well or badly? In Absentia
Well thats me qualified for the APAT World Amateur Champs once again in August at Dusk till Dawn. 115 players. Top 11 got seats. Got pocket aces and two other big stacks and myself got it all in pre flop with my opponents having KK and AK. Won with Trip Aces. The next hand got Pocket Kings and got a medium stack going all in with AK before I act. Won with Trip Kings. When you run good you run good. So I had a massive stack and was plain sailing from then with a few blips.
