Jambo-Jimbo
Yes, this bit I don't get. BDO will need creditor approval ( I think) to appeal-but the biggest creditor even ignoring the Big Tax Case, is still HMRC.( I think). Slight conflict. BDO would need to seek and get the approval of the creditors before they could appeal the CoS decision, this is done by sending out voting papers and following the time scale which is set by law. As far as I know BDO have until December to lodge an appeal, well I don't think they have the time to organise and take a vote on the question of whether to pursue an appeal or not. But of course our esteemed media will know this as well, but have chosen not to mention this little detail. HMRC would have a vote as well, so I think we all know which way they would vote. Why hearts fans are so obsessed with doing rangers down is a rather bizarre obsession. Because they cheated, went down the shitter, re-emerged with help of the authorities who tried to shoehorn them back in at the top. No contrition was shown, no thanks, nothing but a sense of self entitlement. But I also suspect had this been any other team, the sentiment would be the same if the actions taken were the same. All about seeing justice served, I guess. The Record can spout its nonsense all it likes, doesn't mean it's true.

DETTY29
Due to which players being registered incorrectly?Due to straw clutching (threats) by the press and trying to put pressure on all clubs not to re-open LNS. There is no accusation let alone evidence of us mis-registering players, lying to HMRC or deliberately withholding documents from the football authorities as Rangers have. We have been sanctioned in line with the rules for our misendeavours. Killie, Utd, Hibs, Partick havent for their financial mismanagement because they broke no rules. Ps - we didnt win any trophies during our tax assessment years. Although dependent on financial year ends, 2007 may take in part of season 2005-2006. Hackney Hearts
If tomorrow Hearts were found to be currently making secret non disclosed payments to players (ie in 2015) what would our punishment be? Non disclosure, lying and cheating - fine The circumstances are vastly different, but you are correct, we did ditch a lot of debt, as did many other clubs, including Hibs, in unofficial CVAs. There are many other things we can pull them up for, however, many more serious, if we wanted too. Let's sit quietly for now though, and enjoy the show.
