:shitwine:
Whats the chances of a 1st corner smash with Kobayashi and Maldonado being next to each other? Wouldn't be surprised Kobayashi is very ballsy (or as some lazy and borderline-racist reporters have said, kamikaze) and Maldonado is as careless as it gets. It's a shame for the latter, as he has shown signs of becoming a great driver, but he ruins that by ploughing into other cars on a regular basis. Hopefully Kobayashi can take a podium today. As for winner? I'm going for Kimi. I just hope the race is smooth enough to end by about 2.40 so I can watch it all before heading to the game

Its like he thinks he's in stock cars. If he gets through the 1st corner without hitting someone I'll be surprised. I think Kimi will win too. He's superb at Spa. Any news on the weather? GP3 race about to start and its sunny.

Grosjean is a decent racer but far from the first time he's made basic errors ... Currahee!
He's not ood enough sadly, hulk has been kicking has ass consistently... I'd guess raikkonen would go back to mac.. He hasn't really. di Resta beating him in qualifying and the Hulk only just moved ahead in the standings is hardly kicking his ass. He's got the upper hand over the last few races but that can swing back again. Kimi has a get out clause at Lotus but I doubt it'll be enforced. di Resta for McLaren is a good bet although Kobayashi there would be superb. A great number two driver to Jenson I think jenson is not where near good enough to be no1 at mac.. he needs the car to be consistently perfect, not in same league as alonso, vettel or Hamilton.. di resta held upper hand when hulk was getting used to the car, but has been beaten in qualy and the race pretty consistently although would be a good #2 driver just not to button

I think Button is a great driver, yes when the car is good but he proved this last year and with his two wins this year that's all he needs, a good car. When he has that he's a match for anyone in the field. Compare that to Hamilton where he himself has to be wrapped up in cotton wool and treated with kid gloves otherwise he goes in a huff (same with Vettel). Alonso on the other hand for me is on a different planet of skill. Di Resta may go there (Ferrari) too but will be held back. McLaren is the logical choice for him. Obviously this depends on what Hamilton does mind you.

Sure we will agree to disagree..Hamilton would be leading this world championship at a canter if it were not for Mclaren screw ups, I agree overall that alonso at this stage of his career is#1 but don't forget Hamilton beat him as a rookie .. So has the speed.. Button can only win in a car which is a step in front of the opposition and is balanced perfectly .. He can't drive around problems, I don't think anyone could ever categorise him as one of the elite.. Good yes, great? No Di resta will never get the choice to go to Mclaren, same as button good yes.. Great no.. I wish he was the quickest in f1 but I've seen nothing to suggest it..but he's a good driver a carries himself well..WC contender -can't see it.. Got beaten by Sutil, and now getting beat by hulk...

Hamilton is fast when everything is perfect but I would argue he is guilty of needing a good car even more than Button. He doesn't have the mental strength in my opinion to be a great. Only a few races ago he was on the team radio during the race saying his car wasn't working only to get sent back out and then get faster. He gives up too soon. And if he doesn't win this year because of McLaren mistakes what about every other year since his championship season? Become the best and then develop a big ego, not the other way round. Interesting that he shares an agent with David Beckham. Simon Fuller, a showbiz agent.
