That was my 1st attempt.- (i think) and i haven't bothered playing again as i am guessing that's my limit Having seen some of the scores from previous weeks i still think it might get beat although dodgy wind conditions are my friend, i seem to like them. I expect that the CTTH should go lower. I ain't had a bash at Royal St Georges yet, there are some courses you like and some not so much, this one gets on my tits a bit. But I looked at the conditions, i.e. heavy wind, and then at the leaderboard, and I knew whose name would be top Andy's. I suspect he is a bit of a masochist of sorts, he always seems to produce really low rounds on this course in gale force feckin winds. I will be pleased, once I get round to playing, to just beat par, and hope it is one of the rounds that falls off my total at the end of the competition (it is the best of x number of overall rounds isn't it, did I read that in the rules set out up front). I'm not even going to try deny it. Its true. I'm not so keen on simple target golf, that's for the unadventurous Better with real golf Scottish style like St Andrews. It only counts as a proper challenge if the pins are almost horizontal in the wind I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more and more "challenging" golf in the coming weeks.
