These drips strike me as a bit of a waste of time on the most part. Why not pick a team you strongly fancy, lets face it there are plenty games to pick from each weekend/midweek.

 

Say you start with a team at 8/13. They win and your tenner becomes ?16.15

 

You put your ?16.15 on a team at 4/6 and it becomes ?26.92 (this would take at least about 8/9 bets doing it your current way with over 0.5 or 1.5 goals

 

Now if you don't want to lose any money you could even take your tenner back here but say you have another bet with your ?26.92 on a team at 8/11 - you now have ?46.50 after 3 bets.

 

The example prices are nothing spectacular and after 2 or 3 bets you could take back your original stake to make sure you don't lose any money and continue betting with your 'free' bet.

 

Obviously this is a bit more 'risky' than betting on there being a goal in a game but the possible returns are far better and it seems that most people are coming unstuck at some point be it after 1 bet or 40 bets and losing their tenner anyway.

Quite a few odds on teams are getting beat just now. As is showing in the weekend bet and jkb syndicate threads.

Folks, i started up again last week but with a slightly different strategy.

 

Firstly instead of backing "1 goal of more" in the total goals market I am laying 0-0 instead which is effectively the same bet but you get slightly better odds.

 

Secondly I have upped the stakes and i'm going with a ?100 stake and putting about 4 bets on a day. This pulls in about ?30 a day which i withdraw daily and start again with the ?100 stake. Has been working for me so far and ?30 a day ain't too shabby.
