Right, I'm binning that cover bet idea. I don't know what possessed me to convince myself it was such a good idea yesterday. I didn't get home from work until 3am the night before so I'm blaming that.

 

Anyway, all in (and probably all out):

Neither team has had a 0-0 draw in the last 10 months. Adelaide had one in January this year and Perths last was in the same fixture in 2008.

Still can't decide what to do with my money (providing my last bet comes through of course). I'm not sure what would best. Here's what I'm looking at:

 

1. Withdraw ?20. At least then no matter what happens I'll be even for this whole thing. Then I'd try and take my ?30 odd balance up to ?100.

 

2. Keep going. Obviously would be the quickest way to get that ?100 but would be gutting to lose ?60 or ?70.

 

These are the only two I can come up with. I've thought about splitting the pot and putting on riskier bets, but what's the point? I've proven my patience and in 11 days I've turned my balance from ?10 to ?50. By Wednesday I could have turned it into ?100, who knows?

 

All this becomes pointless if my next bet doesn't come up. Any advice is appreciated. :2thumbsup:

I'm definitely in camp 1. As soon as I go over ?50 I'll be taking my initial stake back, including the tenner I lost and leaving myself with ?30 to play with. It shouldn't take long to get back to 50 again, and I'll be carrying on til I get to ?100.

 

Not sure if at that point I'll take ?50 profit and carry on or not... I guess I'll see if I get there.

1 goal or more in the Derry v Shamrock Rovers game is a pretty big 1.12. A quick look round all the other sites suggest there's nothing between the sides (certainly not in the betting), in fact, 0-0 is the 2nd lowest odds on the correct score.

 

Sticking the minimum ?2 on 0-0, and losing it if theres a goal, still returns more than if I bet on the Italy/Hungary game. So:
