Me neither. This is simply unbelievable. On the Guardian blogs after the Murray match, a couple of people described Roddick as a "journeyman" - can you believe that?! I hope they're watching as shame-faced as they should be.
Chad Sexington
And to think the Williams sisters will get paid the same as these two for their crappy final yesterday. They should be wearing feckin masks.
Bigsmak
If the women get paid the same, they should play the 5 set games as well. Thats effectively 6 sets they have played now!

shaun.lawson
I honestly think Roddick might start cramping in a minute: he can barely walk any more. I've got a nasty feeling Fed's going to take him in the next game. C'MON ANDY!

Agreed, it should be on a count back after the 5th set gets to 10-10. Federar never broke his serve until the last... totally sickened.
shaun.lawson
My heart goes out to the guy. That is the most fantastic effort I've ever seen in all sport from someone who ended up losing. He's a hero. Meanwhile folks - that's how good you have to be to beat the Greatest. Throw everything at him while he's off his game, and he still wears you out; train like a lunatic and turn yourself into tennis' version of Mr Universe, and you'll end up seriously injured before long. Well played Roger - but in so many ways, this was Andy Roddick's tournament. And I'll never forget that match as long as I live.
Heaven98
Gutted for Roddick. It's got to take him a long time to get over that. But what an effort.
Harry Palmer
One of the best finals I've seen, didn't see last years as I was working but this is what you want to see. Roddick was good but not good enough. He deserved to be in the final but ran out of steam in the end. Federer looked to have lost his way but he is the best and proved it here. Murray for the US.. Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC
Roddick is destroyed. Sure his 400k cheque will cheer him up though! That was the best sporting moment of the year by a mile, well apart from when we done Hibs in the Scottish. Great, great Wimbledon. Loved every minute of it. Martin
Unbelievable. Wanted Federer to win but feel gutted for Roddick as well. Sport is great but at times you can't help but hate certain parts of it. Roddick deserved that one, I just hope somehow he can bounce back from it.
