There are few issues in life which can't be clarified by consulting the accumulated wisdom of dodgy heavy metal stars.

 

In an interview several years ago Lemmy the singer and bass player from popular beat combo mot?rhead once admitted to having partaken in intimate congress with a post-op transexual.

 

He admitted to having a few initial reservations about the idea but had decided that "if he/she'd had the balls to get them cut off then he had the balls to **** him/her."

 

I was reminded of this when reading the various comments about how people would react to signing Ratboy. If he does arrive it will be hard for supporters to give him our backing but if he's got the guts to deliver a massive snub to his public at the San Giro and attempt to make it at Tynecastle then I for one will be willing to put my reservations to one side and cheer him on.

 

Best comparison ever IMHO and one I agree with too.

Think its the 1st time I have ever not wanted a player even when we are in need. I despise the wee tosser but I would despise him even more if he chose to come to a club he has proven to loathe. Hibs is where he belongs and its where I hope he ends back at.

Yes they did. David Tanner reported Hearts enquiring about Gow after move to Blackpool fell through. Riordan with agent but not talking to anyone yet.

 

"Could" being the appropriate word, not "is" or "has"

Wouldn't be happy if all that happens is another Kaunas player coming in, but like you, can see it happening. Would be absolutely delighted if we coudl get both Gow and Riordan, think it would definitely strengthen the team in an area that needs it would also like us to sign another RB, but doubt it will happen.

Maybe he's hyped it a bit more than it was but I'm pretty sure he's not being deliberately misleading.

I never jumped on him but his wording misrepresented what was actually said. We are no closer to them coming than before that interview. Tanner was trying to make a story out of nothing.
