We've tried that 20 times already

It's logical to remove the problem and just pure fear trying the same and still sticking with it

It's like a battered housewife on a council estate, there she is, black eyes again

We're in a sorry state.   I would start these cretins again but maybe be more inclined to hook them quickly if it's going down the shitter.

Ideally Shankland would be rested but the shitshow has resulted in the situation of even a poor or disinterested Shankland probably being more likely to contribute than anything else we have.

In chess this is called Zugzwang.   A position that can only worsen with any of the available moves a player can make.

Shankland and maybe Vargas to start and hope for the best.

Maybe we need to be getting some of the luck Aberdeen have had this season with goals against the run of play and jammy deflected shots that go in etc.

Or maybe a goal from the left peg of Kingsley such as the one at Parkhead would be nice. We just need a break and maybe it will all come good.

He’s struggled but do you think we’ve been playing Dhanda wrong?  If there’s anyone that can maybe play more centrally and find passes it’s him.

This playing on the left isn’t working and needs nipped in the bud.  He looks uneasy there and too often turns back with the ball and takes the momentum out our attempts to work up the park.  You’re almost watching him take the ball from halfway back into the left back area.

However, when he got switched he looked far more comfortable taking the ball on his natural side and came alive much quicker.

No movement ahead of him to pass too, the Captain wont run channels or move basically.

Let’s see if Critchley has the decency to resign the King before kick-off rather than getting to Zugzwang when it’s too late again.

Hmm.. I'm all for hooking a player if it's necessary, even before the 1st half ends

Don't think fox or critchley have ever done it though

We’ve a terrible record at Tynecastle, not won there since 2017.

that could change but only if we play Palaversa, which I’m not sure Thelin will

The analogue is Hibs actually.

Shite.  Weak.  Keep ****ing it up.  Suddenly they score 3 times and do it again with a clean sheet.   They'll be treating this week as a big reset and looking forward to a run.

I would like to see us play Devlin, Boateng and Beni together as it worked well against Celtic and they are all playing consistently well unlike some of the others.

                Gordon

Adeoke Kent Kingsley Penrice

                  Boateng

        Beni.                Devlin

Forrest.                            Spittal

                    Musa

Who the **** is Adeoke and Penrice is suspended. Those 3 in midfield worked well at nullifying the quality Celtic have in midfield, today we play against two slow 33 yo sitters and McGrath.

100%. 👍

We can’t play him no matter what Critchley thinks. He needs to miss a few games. We’ve got options up front. I’d like to see no Vargas and definitely no Shanks.
E have to play to win. Full on attack first half. Score 2-3 goals then sit back second half. Be nice to scout some more but inevitably the case will be we don’t.
It’s a must win game. All or nothing.

It's all wishful thinking sadly

You have a point there.  So far he's been nowhere near his potential.

A win today I think . Narrow though probably . Off the foot of the table and a point off a couple of teams above us . Turning point of our season . Should never have gotten as bad as this though

Oh well , looks like it is probably bottom on goal difference then . After that as long as we get three points today , then we have some games that there are no excuses for not winning between now and Christmas . Every single one of our players had better realise that they have an opportunity here to prove they are up to it between now and the opportunity to replace them in January

A narrow win keeps us bottom. Needs to be by 3 clear goals...and as Shanks couldn't score in a brothel at the moment where are we getting that number of goals from?

I think any win will do today. Do that and follow it up next week and we will move up a few places. StJ at Aberdeen and Hibs at Celtic is a chance to claw some places back but only if we do what we should be doing.

Hearts nil if shankland plays. If we try something different we might have a chance of sneaking a goal. Need pace, power and mobility up front

Good.  St.Johnstone have got Rangers and Aberdeen.  Kilmarnock are away to Rangers and Dundee Utd.   Ross County have Rangers.   Dundee away to us.

If this all goes badly we're getting into a very deep hole.

Not really. I am thinking that we will win easy today. If we want to score goals then we can’t play shanks.

A win today could give us a big opportunity to get out the hole next week v dundee with the fixtures the teams round about us have. Then puts us in a positive place heading to Rugby park for another massive game

No team information as yet and just about to leave, hopefully my mole / hole has been blocked. However I can say Montell has been eliminated from strictly 💃

Bit worried at who the fans target if it all goes wrong today...my money is on sack the board chants, surely nobody will get on critchleys back so soon.

We've amassed a bunch of shitebags that continually kick the ball away or put each other in trouble with crap slow hospital balls and nobody taking responsibility.

Today is giving me a real fear. I've seen little to think we're suddenly clicking.

Captain Sausage

I reckon we'll see Salazar in for the suspended Penrice.

Beni back in for Devlin, Spittal in for Forrest and Oyegoke in for Forrester.

I'd also like to see Musa in for Shankland, but I reckon the above will be enough change for Critchley to contend with.

Just get three points Hearts, I could not care less how it is achieved.

Missing Penners is massive. If we're to replicate what he does it would need to be Salazar but I don't think he will. Kingsley will need to be conservative.

Everyone says the ball just needs to fall for Shankland....it has been. Musa has scored 4 in 2 closed door games and a raker against Celtic. Let's see what he can do if the ball falls for him.

If his all round game isn't deemed great then play for the second balls and try and get him a chance. Some utter shan strikers have bagged goals in the SPFL.

I prefer Vargas cutting in from the left. He can atleast get some power on his shots when he can wind up. And he'd be ideal for getting in behind Duk/Morris.

Musa is scoring again today.
