Morning all,

I’m looking forward to todays game.

Dont think we’ll win though and reckon it will be a 1-1 draw

Probably your best chance to end the winless streak at Tynecastle for past seven years or so.

I've no idea what Hearts team will turn up. We’ve played better under Critchley but cannot hit a barn door.

All roads lead to Gorgie

If we can only convert the chances for a change then we have a strong chance of a vital three points. I think we are actually creating more opportunities than last season but snatching at everything in the air or on the ground. Calmer heads in the opposition box would make a huge difference.

We need to unsettle Aberdeen early on and keep the momentum high for the whole game. We started well against Celtic but let them back into the game too easily. Don't allow that drop off today Hearts!

Can't see a win but hoping for a draw.

We really are in the shite right now.  After today we have 6 games where we should be gathering points before we go to Dundee Utd, a staggering 14 points ahead of us. The added European games are a sideline we could do without right now (Shamrock Rovers are ahead of us). Hopefully the New year will bring in the new dawning, but management by App seems ridiculous given the consequences of it not working.

Failure between now and Jan 5th will mean a relegation dogfight of epic proportions.

Halkett ,Salazar , Tait ,Wilson , Musa , should ALL be given a chance ,the others have all let the club down so far this season

Can’t argue with that really.

Score the first goal and I'll be confident (nobody mention Killie at home please, I'm trying to be positive.

Interesting 90 minutes ahead of us. Any win will do.

Need more energy with Penrice out , I think Kingsley would toil a wee bit these days if we are asking him to bomb up and down the wing

Agreed.

Aberdeen won’t sit deep either and pace will be key.

"Management by App" shows a staggering lack of awareness about what is going on at our club, or will be.

I think we will win this today. We should have got a result at Pittodrie and I am hoping the players are going to be up for it and prove a point.

How in the name of the wee man have the bookies got us as favourites?

Are Aberdonians to tight to put a bet on?

Probably down to their record here.  It's horrific in recent years.  We also should have beaten them up there easily back in October.

Maybe I am being too reasonable but I don't think that our main problem is the team not playing well , it is all about the lack of goals. Now the vermin put three past this lot the other week and reall that tells you all you need to know!  I am not looking for a shed load of goals but just enough to win us the three points. If we do not score today things are going to get very vocal on the terraces.

The analogue is Hibs actually.

Shite.  Weak.  Keep ****ing it up.  Suddenly they score 3 times and do it again with a clean sheet.   They'll be treating this week as a big reset and looking forward to a run.

Hibs looked decent midweek against Aberdeen from what I saw of the highlights although they can be deceiving.

Yesterday they were massively helped by what seemed like a non existent Motherwell central midfield and a shocker from their Goalkeeper.

We could do with some of that luck today please.

Motherwell were awful yesterday. Worst I've seen them in a long time.

What's going on at the club? It looks like we're 3 points adrift at the bottom with 9 points. Obviously "management by app" was a joke at the expense of the Bloom Bitches. Anyone with an ounce of awareness would have known that. However, using analytics to choose a coach with at best, a bang average record when we were already in the shite, was a high risk strategy. I hope we're not rewarded with a season or two in the wilderness.

Like I said, a staggering lack of knowledge about how the analytics work, and they do work. The evidence is there if you care to look.

"Bloom Bitches" comment does you no favours either, I'll not be replying further to you.

We'll need to be excellent and Aberdeen will need to have an off day for us to get anything.

I think they win by 2 or 3, we likely play the same way and fail to take any chances.

I predict we batter them in the first half but go in goalless.

Every man, woman and child in our support groans and fears the worst.

Instead we keep it up and Shankland is trusted to take a penalty.  He scores it.

You never know!

Frankie should be studying Hearts Centre Backs that were good recently, Berra, Souttar and Halkett

Halkett should have the numbers of the other two if Frankie wants some advice after studying how they scored with Headers and in Halkett & Souttar's case, in particular, how to be ball-playing Defender

Then we might be a more effective unit; if he did this earlier he may have been Captain now, wage rise to boot, no doubt 👍

Was pretty confident about this until that penalty miss. If he's blazing them what chance have we got in front of goal, unless someone else gets the start.

Think we'll batter them for 40 minutes, no goals, they'll make their usual change at half time and crash the net, just run down the wing and cross it low to as many bodies in the box as they can And hope it bounces in.

Hope at the very least CG has the armband today

Massive 90 minutes for us this afternoon, we need to support and encourage who ever is selected to play this afternoon for the full 90 minutes plus added time, including the players that are being blamed for the mess we currently find ourselves in!, we should have beat them last time around in Aberdeen!, believe a repeat performance today and we will win comfortably with the full support of us the fans! if we start getting on the players backs early on and during the match we will put pressure on our own players that will cause and make errors and mistakes!

Correct, we must get behind and give them full support, it’s no good booing them it will only make more nervous.

Come on Hearts ♥️

Why. He can hardly influence the game from the goals. The only way that would happen is if Shankland is not playing.

Can't wait to see Boyce, McKay and Grant coming on to turn the game (in Aberdeen's favour)
