England passed and passed in the first half, interchanging but going nowhere. Some of England’s triangles had a Bermuda feel. It was so frustrating to witness.

Once again during the afternoon game they went to speak about England at half time. Can they not see how bad this is? We want to watch a game without references to who played for Watford or wherever and just want an unbiased commentary on the game we are watching. Not got a problem with England or their team it's the media that drive me to saying ABE. The sooner they are out the better but then we will get " this is the group/team England would have been playing had they got through". F&*%$ing clowns the lot of them.

I don't watch England games or TV at half time. Find it's better for my blood pressure. I do find it weird people complaining about English commentators or 'experts' saying we or us. They are English. What I do hate is  that we can't even get a Scotsman/woman to commentate on our games. I suppose that would be too Scottish for the BBC/ITV

Liam McLeod and James McFadden commentated on our game v Germany. McLeod and McCann covered the Switzerland and Hungary games.

Yup, I had Scottish commentary for all three games as well, funny that eh !!

 

English commentators and pundits referring to England as 'us' and linking English based players in other games, to a largely English audience surely isn't something to get our knickers in a twist about is it ??

I think it's only fair to compliment the England fans.

 

6 fans at the Serbia game have been issued banning orders of between 3 and 5 years. Just the 6. Another 2 prevented from traveling. 

 

But

 

"It is important to stress that the vast majority of England fans in Germany are behaving extremely well, and those involved in any disorder are very much a tiny minority. This has been the case at all of England’s fixtures so far,"

It's smug gits like Lineker that stops a lot of neutral fans, if not supporting England at least not being bothered if they do well. He's not long declared "Italy only scored 3 in the group stages" So one more than England then!

Correct, I try to not listen to Lineker anymore, especially after all is off the field verbal bullshit.
