While I do agree to an extent , people used to say that about Mourinho too . His defensive target man style ect . Levein copied it back in the day with weaker players . Neilson tried to play the Pep way with weaker players too

 

Thing is , before these dads came in , our Scottish long ball style was called Dinosaur football and unable to progress us

I think it was Mourinho that copied the old school style, Levein is still trying to play the way we did when he was brought to us under McDonald with a Sandy Clark type guy. 
England also playing more long balls than any other team.

Most politicians are lying cheating bar stewards. Humza yesterday when asked for a comment on the new PM was more interested in stopping arms to Israel and freeing the Gaza Strip. I’m at the stage where I’ve got a lot of sympathy for Southgate. The same English press that will call for him to be knighted if they win the euros are also straining at the leash to put the boot in if they go out.

If Southgate can drop Foden and Kane then they’ll walk this euros. He needs to grow a set of knackers and call the underperformers out. There’s no dress rehearsal at a knockout stage. It’ll be his downfall if he doesn’t change it up for the semi. England should be growing in confidence yet that team is set up all wrong. They’re a great side but not doing themselves justice. They’ve won ugly every game and yet their squad depth is frightening. What a difference when Toney cam on for old hirpling Kane.
