Fair enough. The other 2 statements still stand though 👍

Couldn't care less who they play for personally.

Scott Monument

Very good player hopefully they don’t bring many more of that calibre for next season otherwise they would be hot favourites to finish a minimum of third, also thought Joe newell has vastly improved

Told yous he was a player. Ran the show last night and caused us loads of problems. Thought, grudgingly, that his technique, vision and positioning was excellent.

Gutting as it is I don't mind admitting when they've signed a good player. Not that it happens often, but they definitely have done here.

**** that. I wouldn’t bum up Messi if he pulled on a #!bs shirt.

Certainly wouldn’t be starting a thread.

Worlds went worse woke than first imagined. 🤦🏻

Think you're getting a bit mixed up with finding something weird and being angry about something. Not seen one person angry tbh.

Sorry mate. They will br hot favourites to finish a MINIMUM of third if they bring in loads of players they can’t afford.🤣

that post gets the suspicious spidey senses tingling .

hibs won’t finish 3rd

You must've missed the meltdowns of last night and this morning.

I'm only talking about this particular thread mate, and the fact one has been created to wax lyrical about one Hibs player. That's all.

It's Hibs.

'Minimum of third'. They're not even the third best team in Edinburgh.

That be the same Newell who has been slated by their own support for being invisible during games.

Puts effort in against Rangers, Celtic and Hearts but nowhere to be seen rest of time.

He dictated play last night. We didn't contain him anywhere near well enough but his goal was an absolute gift.

Sad to say, he wasn't the only Hibee we struggled to contain.     Joe Newell had far too much time to  stroll forward and pick a pass. The guy Maolida looked decent too.

£35,000 , per week at Bournemouth 🤷‍♂️ So I was told by a Hibby this morning, Hibs pay £4k a week of his salary.

He was one of their best players, that’s about it. Nothing special imo…ran the show, technique, vision, positioning, excellent…he wasn’t even the best player on the park.

If he's fit he's back at Bournemouth or Tolley will cash in on him.

He is out of contract end of the season is basically just getting fit and games under his belt then will move on to someone that can pay near the £17k a week he is on.

When you’re making Newell look semi decent, you know you’re having a bad day at the office.

😃  Possibly ..... but the issue is that Hearts had a bad night at the office, which helped the likes of Newell to look good.

Don’t think in open play he done to much but his dead balls where very good all night. Obviously got the goal but that was just being in the right place to score the easiest goal you’ll ever score. I thought there number 17 was more impressive bar his awful header at the end.

Perfectly reasonable post, clearly you’re assuming they’ll go down, and therefore can target a minimum of 3rd in the Championship next season. Good to see a Hibs fan with realistic ambitions matching the stature of club

Knows how to find space and play in tight areas,he's out of contract, he gets it,more than once he was playing up to them last night especially at corners.

He was prepared to work hard for his team too.

Stick Sibbick on him,  and i reckon he would of Been quiet.

I think he clearly has ability. But outside deadballs and his goal I don't think he made all that much of a mark on the game, 2nd half especially.

He compared himself to a cold pasta that nobody wanted and suggested he was using his time at Hibs to "warm up". He's there to put himself in the shop window for the summer, not to stick around.

If Rangers knock them out of the cup next weekend, his presence is a complete irrelevance to us.

As for "if they bring in more of his calibre", how are they going to do that? He's a holdover from when Bournemouth were in the Championship, isn't good enough for the EPL, and couldn't get a better club because he was recovering from a lengthy injury. I doubt Bournemouth have a load of these guys lying around.

He'll soon get dragged down to Hibs' level. Clearly a talented player but doubt he'll want to be here any longer than he absolutely has to. Bournemouth will want value for their enormous wages so he'll be back to them.

Clearly Tolley will want to make an initial splash 😊 to raise the Hobbits' hopes but I'd imagine now he's safely skidded into Fester, his big team down south will be the absolute priority.

LogicalEric

Purely at Hibs to get himself fit for a summer move as he's been out for the best part of a year and is nowhere near the Bournemouth first team.

I'd imagine he's an exception to the rule with this tie in as he's a senior pro on 20k+ a week.

He looked half decent, but the goal was scored because of an almighty **** up from us at the back, hardly some 30 yard worldie.

He'll pop off back down South for a bit, never to be heard from again, plying his trade at the likes of Peterborough United or Shrewsbury Town.

Was impressed with him but more disappointed at our defending to be honest.

Seems like anyone who is the slightest bit physical and direct and we cough up chances every time.

Defence needs a shake, been way off it this week.

With him in the middle and the Wig on the wing it was like the Prancer and Dancer show.

Short lived success beckons as he will be off faster than a police car driver about to come off shift.

I'm sure he is out of contract so won't be going to Bournemouth.Wont be going to Hibs either unless he fancies the huge drop in wages.

Thought he was Shite. Obviously nothing between his ears agreeing to play those Shitehawks, hope his career is short-lived like most of the other grunts that have pulled on that famous Green arsepaper.
