Told yous he was a player. Ran the show last night and caused us loads of problems. Thought, grudgingly, that his technique, vision and positioning was excellent.

Gutting as it is I don't mind admitting when they've signed a good player. Not that it happens often, but they definitely have done here.

Hope not.

If he's fit he's back at Bournemouth or Tolley will cash in on him.

Step above us and Hibs.

Sometimes you just need to enjoy watching a player. Not necessarily wishing him or his team well, but just enjoying the way he plays the game.

Seemed to have time and space everytime he had the ball last night. Difficult to do in a game which is so high tempo.

We gave him the freedom of the pitch None of our midfielders got near him. I expected Devlin to be all over him. Suspect the fact that he has only played a few games caught our management out in terms of knowing what to expect.

Their manager subbed him for a centre back tho :D

Obviously a draw at Tynecastle is a win for them.

Mate that was a win for them - they took him off so he could get his standing ovation and so they could shut up shop at the back. Which is actually a wee bit funny, since they were clearly delighted with the draw and trying to protect it but we were raging 🤣

He played well though. I was glad they did that when they did as I didn't really want him pushing hard for the last 10mins and maybe getting something.

Its not gushing. It's pointing out that they've got a good player, who is a danger to us.

On a Hearts forum, about a Hibs player. Unbelievable.

Not until next season he won't be, if he's there at all.

He scored a goal which was down to our defending. He missed a big chance at the end of the first half, then faded out of the game.

Not really a swashbuckling all star performance in my book.

Your whole post literally is gushing over him though.

Even if you rate him and want to point out he's a decent player it surely it doesn't require it's own thread on a Hearts forum?

Drylaw Hearts

Think his overall performance has been exaggerated because he scored a goal.

No doubt a good player though.

You can @ me if you want.

I'm a Hearts fan first and foremost, but I love football and love watching good players. We've been screaming out for a #10 for 3 seasons now, and last night he showed how to play the position effectively. First half in particular he was a class above every single other player on the pitch.

Makes him Hibs' best derby performer in years. It's a fairly low bar, though.

He's not a danger to us. Hibs are 21 points behind. Still have to catch Dundee to play against us ever again.

He was blowing out his hoop. Said that to the boy next to me and 5 mins later he was hooked.

A good player but not one I'm particularly bothered about. We were shocking defensively down our right hand side all night and he was clever in dropping in there and exploiting the 2 v 1 they constantly had.

He'll blow hot and cold in this league.  He's their Barrie McKay.

He's a decent player but when you don't get close to guys course they're going to shine. In a deby you shouldn't get a minute on the ball and we were too passive.

We've played in Europe against guys of similar even better. We need to learn lessons. Just started too passively and couldn't get going

Can tell he is a good player but I wouldn’t say he ran the show. He was often in acres of space but either didn’t get the ball enough or was wasteful.

Scored his goal but you’d expect anyone competent to bury it.

Best player on the park yesterday was Nieuwenhof

Careful, how dare you mention another teams player.

Same folk moaning are the ones who fully engaged in the Dhanda thread after he scored against us at Tynie saying they wanted him here.

Place is just full of miserable so and so's just now.

He dictated play last night. We didn't contain him anywhere near well enough but his goal was an absolute gift.

Never said anyone isn't agreeing though mate. I just find it weird to start threads about a Hibs player going on about how amazing they are.

Set piece delivery was good. Brilliant of Hibs to take him off when they had a corner. But the threat of Vargas and Forrest led Montgomery ("we deserved to win the game") to put on an extra central defender.

We were fully engaged in the Dhanda chat because he was linked with us and had a good chance of being a potential signing.

Oh, and he also doesn't play for our rivals.

He was decent but he’s an EPL player sent up here to get fit. Better get used to it they’ll be coming and going like buses out of Easter road for the next few years.
