Back on the horse so to speak.

Best game to bounce back after our defeat at Ibrox!

Dust ourselves down and put these muppets in their place.

Got to absolutely rip them apart on Wednesday, I know that's the case for every derby but this needs to be a record breaking scoreline sandwiched between this doin and a Celtic team going to be trying to claw back the goal difference set today  we need to give the fans something to crow about wjd something for the players to have against 4th and 5th

I expect a backlash from this Hearts team, we need a performance and a result from these scuttlers.

Seen a few mentions of Gordon in for the Hibs game. Surely we’re not using the defeat to Rangers to drop Clark? If we do we’d have been as well dropping him after a string of decent performances, would be no different.

I've kept up on this thread only and a few other posts made me think he'd been a sub.

My mistake.

I think if Halkett and Rowles can go straight in to a winning team then there’s no reason why Gordon can’t, Clark is a good keeper but he’s not Craig Gordon

He was our only real bright light today. Tried but those around him just weren't interested.

Clark wasn't the issue today and I've no real problem with him playing on Wednesday.

I sincerely hope Atkinson and rowles are nowhere near that starting 11 though.

Naismith will be raging at that performance today....and so will the players...especially Shanks. Hibs will be getting a backlash and they'll be wary of it....so will their vermin fans. Today is a reality check and a kick up the arse for us. We'll be well up for this. CMON HEARTS!!!!

And I get that’s a separate debate. But this just seems like an excuse for everyone on the Gordon side of the debate to get him in the team.

Today has zero impact on Wednesday other than, hopefully a boot up the hole

Hard graft, discipline and don’t give Boyle etc an excuse to dive and we win

I think it’s the same debate honestly, if your best players come back from injury they go straight into the team regardless of how well their understudy has filled in

We best be ready. Gave up on our "performance", watched some of their game and they looked more than decent, certainly better than recently.

We were garbage today. (they were good, right enough)

Par for the course, I suppose. Just when your expectation levels rise .....

Pretty happy to have this game come around as quick because 3 points here and today is a distant memory. Absolutely massive game even regardless of it being a derby. Failure to get 3 points here would cast serious doubt over taking anything against Celtic and it leaves the potential for a bit of bad form to start. I think last season is all too fresh at the back of peoples minds.
One good thing from today is we can put any thought of challenging for 2nd to bed. Full focus is now on maintaining that lead in 3rd which hopefully brings with it European group stage football.

If you reward that today then you have to question the squad depth. Dont dislike either but those are droppable performances. Kingsley and Kent were superb against aberdeen. But that requires a back 4. Toby should be nowhere near CB so if its a back 3 Rowles will start IMO

Last season we got horsed by Rangers in the "WTF is that midfield?!?" game.

We kept waiting for a response from the team and it never came.

Good performance on Wednesday and this is a blip.

Our manager hasn't just done that today to say FU to board and GIRUY to the fans.

Not comparable to last season. Players wont bin SN.

A hibs spanking coming up. Perfect time for a derby after a result like today. I'm going 2-0 Shanks and Vargas with the goals.

Muppetboy

I really think we have the potential to really struggle with Boyle and youan, which frustrates the shit out of me cos they're generally pish against all the rest.  Add in those 2 new loans, and the way our defence played today, then there's weakness there no matter how we might dress it up.  Yeah I know it's still hibs, but still
