It was a signal to their own people as well as everyone else, that they have acted after the deaths of their commanders. Israel could make great strides in international opinion by NOT retaliating directly. Interesting the media this morning though. Much made of this being the first direct attack on Israel from Iranian soil. That will feed into Israel’s plea that they are under constant attack. Probably quite accurate as well. Can’t change the fact that they ****ed up badly the response to the Oct attack. It will take decades to sort this latest outbreak. It will also please the hawks, who will demand increases in defence spending. Already happening of course. That defence system has come a long way from the early days of testing Patriot missiles in the Gulf. The drones were also taken down by US & UK fighter jets, tbf.
