If Cheesy is playing this week then just support him ffs

You know like if we were Hearts supporters

We can worry about the future at the end of the season

Need to be right behind the team for the rest of the season as getting on their backs will just make it worse

A toxic atmosphere will probably ensure we don’t finish third

Positive news possibly according to EEN…so all set up for an “out for the season” tweet tomorrow no doubt

So, if the article is accurate, a big if, then there’s been a lot of unnecessary pant-wetting in this thread for a few days. Neilson did say on Sat night that they thought it was a nerve issue rather than a muscular issue.

Any idea who the bounce game was against?

It was two teams made up of hearts players.

No Clark, Smith or Devlin in either team.

To be fair to Cheesy, I recall he was drafted in last season at Celtic Park and had a stormer of a game. He also looked OK when called upon on Sunday. It is a shame though if Zander is also out until the end of the season. Injuries this season will be blamed if we don't get third.

It was this season, feels like a long time ago.

Heard the noises about 12pm when I walked along Gorgie but didn’t think it would be the team, any more information?
Just read it was at Riccarton, who knows who was playing at Tynecastle 😆

0-0 neither team could draw the other team out, CHs on both sides had 150 passes each, all to each other.

No change there then. First goal the winner and they're still playing. KO 3pm

We pay the guy a salary for exactly this eventuality. He should damn tooting be able to play against St Mirren at home.

Good luck to him.

I doubt very much the default atmosphere will be ‘toxic’ if something good happens, it’ll be great, if something bad happens it’ll be toxic. A scenario oft repeated at grounds all over the country at this stage of the season. What will be will be.

But I’m not having a toxic atmosphere being blamed for bad stuff that has already happened and got us in trouble. Feck em. If they can’t beat St Mirren at home they know what’s coming and every spit of it will be deserved

To be fair that's some signs of improvement as recently we've incapable of passing to o our own players.

Probably 50/50.

Id be confident of beating Hibs with Cammy Devlin in goals though tbf.

Football fans are fickle and should we come out playing with passion and desire, getting stuck in and giving the crowd something to cheer, about the atmosphere will be electric. Sit in and allow St's the freedom of Tynie then things will turn south fast. It's all down to Robbie the coaches and players to ensure we get the former.

There must be some half decent goalies who weren’t signed in Jan and are free agents? Pay as you play deal…

I've heard rumours on twitter that Zander Clark wore studs @ Kili and that is the reason he failed to gather the shot that was straight @ him

also concede the penalty and many other non related things.

I've heard some BS, oh wait.

No Idle Talk

Are there any decent goalies who are free agents just now?

Just wondering if we would have any viable options if Zander was out for a while.

Don't rate Stewart at all but he had a solid game when thrown in at Celtic earlier in the season.  Shouldn't be problem on Saturday either.

Exactly the opposite mate.

I just have my opinion that Robbie is not a great coach and holding us back.

I have said nothing until recently, he did well last season. This season has been poor.

I just hold an opinion that we would be taking a massive punt (on a likely inexperienced manager) by changing manager while we are still on target to meet our goals.  If we don't pick up and show some improvement then I think we need to review the management position at the end of the season.

I think he did if you want to suffer the highlights again. Noticed Grant had normal boots on too when he was chopped at the red card, strange.

If Ross Stewart wasn’t good enough to be back-up to CG in August then he isn’t good enough to be No.1 at the most crucial stage of the season.

Who is the back up Kepper to back ups back up Keeper? Harry Stone?

An interesting question. When Ross Stewart was in goal at Celtic Park in August it was actually Liam Mc Farlane  who was on the bench (but Harry may have been ill or injured given that the B team had U-18 keeper Zach Paris in goal that day, not Harry).

Lately Liam and Harry seem to have been sharing the B team gig, with each starting five times since the start of 2023. If Liam is on the first team bench on Saturday, it would suggest that Harry Stone’s time at HMFC  is coming to an end. (Liam is almost two and a half years younger than Harry)

Naw that a new one it’s the fans fault the team can’t buy a win away from home nothing to do with RN and his tactics and team selections.

Where did I say it was fan's fault?

Of course it's not the fan's fault

I said we can still finish third and there is a better chance of that happening

if we stay behind the team at games

That ok with you Rocket?

Any news on his injury?  We could really do with him back next weekend.
