That is a disaster for any government and they will need to defuse it quickly. I am betting a BBC exec will resign and Lineker will be reinstated. Sunak is savvy enough to see how this is playing out and even if he knows the game is up for this govt he will get how this can come back and bite them when the Tories are campaigning in opposition in 6/7 years time.
